Reductio ad absurdum, when playing the game if you happen to come across that wyvern skeleton, take a character that has a penis and try to skullfuck that nice eye sokets near the road.
Remember to make the right noises for a complete immersed experience.

Dancing trees, more like little shrubberies rumbling in the dirt. Back in my day trees looked like trees and were tall and majestic like trees are supposed to be, this garbage is just a bunch of midjit-sized everything, practically only missing the garden gnomes. Heck, this is just like that "stronghold" nonsense those hacks tried to peddle. Puny little wall you could skip over in a heartbeat, tiny like a Xzart village and barely half as effective. Why I never, even the Moathouse was more impressive, at least it had the moat going for it, and besides, it was only a ruin to begin with. Today's "artists" and "designers", it's like they don't even bother. That's what you get with your socialist scumbag "kickstarter" libruhalism, game's already paid for so why bother making it good? Just give them some midjit bushes why don't you, no one will care.

I think they're supposed to be small trees... they don't look very good for small trees though.

Maybe they are supposed to be large bushes. Who knows, it is kind of hard to say.

Nothing wrong with the size of the trees, the campfire on the other hand is too big.

While this area appears thick with foliage now, it was previously the site to horrific fires caused by drakes. Large swaths of ground were burned and only now has the land started to recover.

How big are those trolls? I don't like games with small trolls, Skyrim had small trolls, those trolls better be big.

(I bet they purposefully left out any thing to compare for scale because they knew their trolls were inadequate.)

Edit: I bet those too small trolls will look even tinier next to that huge campfire.(I also hate too large campfires, they are a hazard, especially in a forest setting.)

The game probably will make use of their 3d avatars for big creatures and enlarge type spells - it was one of the best parts of ToEE after all.
