It's interesting that the people who tend to be concerned with issues like privacy are fine with admin "looking into" and screwing with users they don't like, but would be screeching up to the high heavens if it had happened to them.

Personally, I'd prefer to have some level of confidence that the admin who may have access to my information such as payment details also know how to handle confidentiality, discretion, and generally not be dickheads about it. I think Twiglard has done some great things, but he also tends to rate pretty much anything I post as some variation of retarded. That's fine, but how do I know he's not going to go on some vendetta against me because I've upset the wrong folk, or just because he doesn't know where the line should be drawn on fun and games, and srs bzns.

Are you going to fire your star employee for talking shit about the retard diversity hire that doesn't even pitch on time every day?
If I'm applying the rules of conduct fairly then yeah you dumb anglo.

Still wrong. But you are too retarded to realize that. I don't give a shit about him, but if mods are giving preferential treatment to some users, might as well give to people that did something good for Codex.

Did you forget about the Ironyuri event?
I doubt I was ever aware of it, but I remember a user by that name. Go ahead and say what's on your mind.

First you have to show where he abused his Administrative privileges.

No, I don't care about that part. It's something you have been assuming by yourself, retard.
What if he did something for the codex that you may not have liked but other people did? Would you still consider that "good for the codex"?

You realize Twiglard being an Admin did nothing, right? Anyone could have found and posted that.

DU was forced to change to the new version of XenForo, I hated it, but it was done for the good of the codex, since the old one was not secure anymore.

He's a Turk. We have millions of his kind in Germany.
Descendants of those who couldn't make it in Turkey.

May have been a pretext tbh.

So you do realise that there are things in this world that may not be objectively "good", some of which you don't like yourself. Hence the addition of "...that I like". Glad we cleared that up.

I've actually just been waiting to see how this all shakes out. I have no power, I don't have to invest any time in the "trial". All I can do is decide what I feel like doing with whatever happens.

So you do realize that I don't give a shit about "...that I like" if it's good for the codex.

Probably not. Any problem with the old version and the guy would tell DU to change to the new version and why is he still using the old one? See Microsoft doing the same with Windows.

Alright then, so are you willing to entertain the notion that this whole drama has produced engagement with the site, which is good for the codex?

Actually, I do remember something of this. I'll go through a bit of the thread, but as I recall, there was some detail that was missing from the OP that was relevant and intentionally obfuscated. Could be wrong though, it's not like I have the best memory.
