The time has come for the Codex to decide the inclines & declines of 2024.

The voting for the RPG Codex's 2024 GOTY poll is now open - VOTE HERE: https://rpgcodex.net/goty_vote.php

Once again Twiglard was kind enough to make a Codex-only poll, so you can only vote when logged in. The downside is that all games are listed together, regardless if they're full names or DLCs. I'll categorize them for the results.

The poll will run for a week until next Monday (10th). I don't know the exact hour since Twiglard has to close it. As usual, accounts created this year can't vote.

felipepepe the selection of games is fine, and I'm gald to see you finally learned to make this a Codex only poll
However next year (and also for this poll results) you should separate the list in 3 categories - new releases, ports/remasters, dlc's
It doesn't make much sense to have the actual games from the year in question, compete with content updates/expansions from games of the year before, and much less for ports and remasters of games of previous years

This was a very easy vote for me. I played none of these games, apart from a couple of demos (Sovereign Syndicate and Zoria, I think).
The only two RPGs I finished in 2024 were Dragon Age: Origins and Divinity: Original Sin 2. Both were disappoiting in their own way.

Achra and Matchless are hidden gems themselves. The reason they don't get played is because the average Dexer has boring shit banal taste.

Sorry, but another downside of the Codex-only vote is that it's way harder to add new games... you have to ask Twiglard , and I don't know if he can do it mid-voting without screwing up the poll.

From those, i have only played DD2 and Felvidek.

Dragons Dogma 2 is a total waste of potential, great map to explore but nonexistent dungeons and lack of proper exploration cripple that part of the game, gutting the armor layer system is a total decline and retarded excuse for it was even worse, great rework of warrior vocation but reduction of skill slots for mages, tons of cut content, lack of any expansions and bare updates makes all of that even more sad. Not even to mention that world is filled with niggers and furries...


Felvidek on the other hand is a great and memorable game, its only sin is that there is no more of it .
