lack of proper exploration
What are you talking about? Everything related to exploration is an objective improvement over the original - the world map design is significantly more engaging to traverse, the rework of the health and save systems have now real consequences, camping has been introduced with the chance of enemy raids, the new physics allow for interactions that just weren't possible before, pawn quests make hiring wandering pawns more fun than than hiring from the Rift and side quests are actual quests now that the player has to go out there and find (not mmo generated fedex filler)
Not even to mention that world is filled with niggers
So was the first game and in that one it made much less sense, yet you didn't complain
The cat people were already meant to appear in the first game, same as the elves and dwarves
And honestly, why do you even play fantasy rpgs if can't stand fantasy races?

Alright, the GOTY is SKALD, and we are obviously all in agreement.

I'll let you decide the second place, but I suggest Arco.
GOTY is Drova. But Skald can take the 2nd place.

Haven't played Arco yet, so for me Fallout: London and the Thaumaturge can fight for the 3rd place.
Skald won the real GOTY poll by a large margin

Haven't played Drova. Might do it now... but it's still "in development"...and I'm autistic...

you need to find a different hobby.
Nope, 2024 was in particular a very weak year. Bear in mind that including DLC in a GotY vote when the actual game came out in a previous year is retarded, so Shadow of the Erdtree and Rogue Trader don't count. Otherwise there were a few decent JRPGs like SMT V (but again, a port of a switch game that came out years ago) and Romancing Saga 2 (a remake), and a few good indies like Drova and Skald.

I don't need a different hobby, you are just easily amused.
