Isn't Crooked Bee the resident Dark Souls fanboy? Where's the game on that list?

Dark Souls description: Best action rpg to date. Make sure to grab Dsfix.

:hmmm: not sure if trolling....
Action rpg games i already played: Diablo 1/2, Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Divinity 2, Severance: Blade of Darkness, Witcher 1/2, Vampire Bloodlines, Deus Ex, Falllout 3/NV, DX: HR, Dark Souls 1/2.

Games that are worse than Dark Souls: Diablo 1/2, Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Divinity 2, Severance: Blade of Darkness, Witcher 1/2, Vampire Bloodlines, Deus Ex, Falllout 3/NV, DX: HR

Seeing that you guys are open to Adventure games, may i suggest you Red Seeds profile, AKA Deadly premonition? Open World, Day and Night cycles, non static NPCs, tons of sidequests, interesting storyline, etc.

Blame Atari I think. I know NWN2 isn't on Steam anymore because of their losing the D&D license. Think ToEE was lost at the same time.

ToEE was never on Steam. It was added to Steam's database together with NWN1, PS:T, BG1 (non-EE), BG2 (non-EE), IWD (non-EE) and IWD2 some time ago, but never made available for sale.

Divinity: Original Sin Shadorwun: Hong Kong
Realms of Arkania 1+3
Wasteland 1
Wizardry 6
Gothic 1
Geneforge 2-5
Avernum 1-6

Of course you could take a look in this fine list of CRPGs & hybrids...

Why are you recommending BG:EE :rpgcodex:

In the list is only BG 2:EE, I listed the original first, but it is currently not available on Steam.
Baldur's Gate 1 (original) is listed here.
Modding the originals for modern computers or using the enhanced editions is basically the same.

One interesting side-benefit of this whole curator business is that we get a glimpse of how influential the Codex actually is amongst the non-posting lurker masses. Thus far, over 5 times as many follows as group members, and rising at a steady pace. Not too bad.

It also tells you how few people really understand and like RPGs - The Codex curator is buried on the 6th page of the top curators list :(

Let's face it, the Codex and the Watch are niche-sites. Nothing wrong with that.

Current followers Codex: 2782
Steam Members Codex: 533

Current followers Watch: 1542
Steam Members Watch : 194

together we reach 3500 - 4000 CRPG fans. Not that bad.

If we would reach 20000 - 30000 we would be a part of the popamole establishment class. I would not like that at all :)
