If we would reach 20000 - 30000 we would be a part of the popamole establishment class. I would not like that at all

I'd think the genre itself is fairly niche, whereas someone like TB or Yahtzee are reviewing a lot of games (not to mention said games are getting a lot more press than any RPGs that are actually worth a shit).

You mean the PC port that has much higher texture resolutions and frame rate than the 'true console version'? If your argument is that it needs a fix/mod to remedy glaring problems, this applies to many Codex classis as well.

Are there many other big/relevant RPG sites out there?

rpgamer and rpgfan is the ones I can find other than Codex and the Watch.
Both still have thousands of unique visitors per day (though the number are smaller than the Watch, which is about x4 smaller than Codex )

EDIT: Scratch that. Both RPGamer and RPGfan have more visitors than the Watch. But Codex is still bigger than them.

So you're actually complaining about shitty keyboard controls, or what? Is Elite: Dangerous a console exclusive as well because joysticks are strictly superior to KBM?

I mean, the port is perfectly playable with a pad and dsfix. Frankly, even the KBM controls with the mouse fix are easier to get used to than Gothic 1's control scheme.

Why? Is it legitimately not a good game, or is it just not as good as you wanted it to be in the Fallout 2 vs. Fallout 1 sense?

If nothing else the port of Ds2 is infinitely better then the first game. I don't think either title is a bad game per-say for what they are trying to accomplish.

It's in the top 70 list - it should be recommended.
It's fun to define an ideal 'pure' CRPG to recognize their characterizing elements and recurring design patters.
But it is also great fun to get out of the genre box and play hybrids: Shooter-, Action-, Strategy-, Adventure games that feature only a few of these elements. As long they are interesting entertaining and challenging.
