Or you could just drop it and behave mature for once, Jed. I'm asking you nicely. There's nothing I can do if you decide not to, anyhow. I'm not going to delete you, ban you, or fuck with your posts (Once was enough.) I'm appealing to your sense of maturity, so what you decide to do in spite of my appeals is your choice. It will reflect on you as a person. In turn, I'll clean up my act, but reciprocity is a two way street.
Tell me, Ex--did you have your epiphany about "maturity" before or after you PM'd me the photo of mutilated genitalia? Your mother must be very proud of her special little boy.

Tell me, Jed, is it really my fault that you take so long to open your private messages? It was 'after', of course. You can check the timestamp, if you like. By the way, you're still derailing the topic.

As for insults on the Codex: yeah, they used to be good. People used to be able to come up with legitimate arguments and insults that directly pertained to the post they responded to. Instead these days all people do is post stupid images they find on Google or write one-liners just for the sole purpose of pissing people off.

That's interesting to know. I know that Eidos was plenty pissed with how the game went in terms of sales and such, but the fact that the CEO said that Ion Storm should have listened to their fans. I wish other higher ups would say that. Reminds me. Someone should make a Deus Ex mod for HL2.
Yeah, I'm not too impressed with the slew of mods coming from HL2, most of which are 'post apocalyptic' or 'horror' or multiplayer mods that most of the CS:S addicts will unlikely even bother to look at. It'd be nice if someone came up with some single player mods with sci-fi or cyberpunk settings instead.

If responding in context to posts *you made* is considered "derailing," what does that tell you about your own posts?

Intelligent insults on the codex? I somehow do remember Rosh posting page after page abusing everyone that disagreed with him or. Made for entertaining reading though. Anyone seen that shitpusher lately? I kinda miss him.

Fear? Dunno, I always pictured him as an angry little yapping chihuaha. Made reading his rants soo much better. He sometimes had a point, but his way of debating made him seem like an idiot to me.

I miss Chris Beddoes telling us of all the world's conspiracies and how the world was soon to end. That was always fun.

I do neitehr of these.

I mostd efinitely don't post disgusting pictuires - if I did, I'd simply post my pic.

I do do one liners; but I have multiple purpsoes when i do - pissing off people, self entertainment, and something to do.

I win.

Bloodlines deserved both mentions. Surprise for how good the first half of the game was, disappointment for the atrocity called the endgame.

I have to agree with this. I was pretty surprised by how good the side quests and town locations were, but utterly disappointed with how awful the main plot quests were. The side quests had all kinds of opportunities to use different skills, but the main plot missions really only offered thiefy stuff or straight killing - assuming they offered something other than straight killing at all.
