There are RPGs that i will never get tired of replaying like Gothic games or Morrowind.

So what about rpgs you will never go back to? Reasons can be different, ranging from the game being nostalgia fueled disappointment, or a pos, or too long and tedious to attempt a playthrough again, can be a decent game but only for single playthrough, or a good game but you overplayed it so much that you just can't stand it anymore. Etc.

For me it's

  1. Kingdoms of Amalur. Boring and repetitive with shit story and lamest setting, gameplay is just killing one wave of same enemies after another and doing fetch quests. Real torture.
  2. Risen 1. Bland Gothic clone. I can just play gothic games i love :\
  3. Fallout 1. Nostalgia is a drug, you can remember a childhood game as one of the greatest rpgs ever, but when you replay you realize it doesn't have much to offer anymore and not even that good. No reason to go back.
  4. Fallout Tactics. Great game but i finished it twice and feel like it's time to check out.
  5. Underrail. Decent game with challenging combat encounters and build autism. Way too long and tedious, too many busywork with the loot, backtracking and so on. I finished it once and i... probably don't regret it. But i don't feel like doing it ever again.
  6. Diablo games and the likes. Nothing really to offer other than mindless monster slaughter. Just tired of this type of game.
  7. Disco Elysim. Whether you consider it an rpg or not it's up to you. I just don't think this game is worth playing more than once. Maybe even that one time was a mistake.
  8. Dungeon Lords. Janky and unfinished game but i can't say i didn't like it. But i never managed to force myself to finish it despite trying a few times. And i don't think i will.
  9. Daggerfall. Fun game even if too repetitive in nature. But after playing unity version the game started to crash every 15 minutes after i spent 50 hours in it so i can safely say: Never ever. Just don't have motivation doing the same repetitive random quests.
  10. Oblivion. Dumb, prosperized game that crashes a lot. Mods will never fix it. I'd rather just replay Morrowind.
  11. Kotor 1-2. 2 years ago i replayed these games for the final time. Time to put them aside.
  12. Witcher games. Geralt fatigue and CDPR disgusts me.
  13. Icewind Dale. Finished two times. Decent. But i already know all this game has to offer and i prefer this type of games to be with turn based combat these days.
  14. Atom RPG. Tried to finish it twice. Just can't seem to enjoy. Mediocre soviet meme Fallout clone with less enjoyable combat. No reason to bother.
  15. Divinity. Worth playing at least once. But you see the broken, buggy nature of this game. Not good enough for a second time.
  16. Divinity OS1. Tiresome, tryhard. Finished it once with a friend. It was an undertaking for sure and killed any desire to play rpgs in coop ever again.
  17. Beyond Divinity. I never finished it in 2000s because it was buggy as shit. And it's worse than Divine Divinity.
  18. Dragonfall. Finished twice, game has nothing more to offer to me. Plus combat is average and engine is shitty.
  19. Eschalon Book 1 and Book 2. Below average games not worth replaying.
  20. NWN 1 OC. Painful and boring. I'll stick to modules.
  21. Lionheart. Disappointing, rushed game.

I wish I had your capacity to enjoy Morrowind as much as you do, I get filled with boredom and the urge to quit the game quickly after playing.

Every single Owlcat game, cause BLOAT and stupid mini-games, and endless bugs, and too many little annoyances that pile up.
Every single Fallout, they all have terrible gameplay that you have to put up with.
The Witcher 1 takes soooo looooooong before it actually gets going, I'm not going back to that fucking swamp.
Neverwinter, the original campaign is unplayable.
Pillars of Eternity is perhaps the most boring game I have ever forced myself to dredge through.
Baldur's Gate 1, low level D&D is tiresome.
Wasteland 2 and 3 are simply too repetitive and not memorable enough.
ALL Bethesda games: I've had it with this stupid company, everything they create make me lose braincells AND time as I try and fail to fix it with trillions of mods. Never again.

Discussion is more interesting if you limit it to games that aren't pieces of shit. "Wow, holy cow guys. Can you believe Butter isn't going to replay Fallout 3?"

Diablo 2 - I'm assuming the only available version is the remaster, and that it's only available through the Blizzard launcher. I have no interest in that.
Shadowrun Dragonfall - It was good for one playthrough, but I feel like I got everything it has to offer already.
Wizardry 4 - Again, no replay value. Once you've solved the puzzles, there's no reason to go back.

Fallout 1 and 2 don't have "terrible" gameplay. Combat is simplistic but enjoyable. Quests and solutions to many of them are very well done, according to some, those are among the best games in that regard. Character building gives real options. There are some nice exploration, more so in F2 than F1.
Fallout Tactics has well done combat.

You can say that those game are average or that they don't deserve the praise they get. Many will disagree but you can defend your position then. However calling them "terrible" just marks your post as a clickbait in big flashing letters.

I will never return to Infinity Engine games. Not that all are bad. BG2 (and IWD1) were decent to good and P:T had a good story and potential to be a very good game. However when i tried to replay BG2, i couldn't force myself to play for long. I simply had no fun. Was is rtwp that i like even less than i used to? Was it the fact that i not only remember the main story but a lot of the best quests as well? Or because the NPC to recruit that i haven't played with the first time all look and sound gaaaay and what's the point doing everything the same again? Except maybe that paladin guy you find in some sewers. He looked ok. Anyhow, it isn't for me anymore.

Divine Divinity - People rave about this game but I couldn't get into it. I think for a game like this the start is a bit too slow and it's just not that compelling.
Divinity OS1 - Basically the same reason, that town area at the beginning is a slog to get through. I don't even understand why have this weird fetch quest hub type location, the game's focus is obviously turn-based combat, isn't it?
Avernum Escape from the Pit - Generally I think I'll steer clear from Vogel's stuff. The design is weird and not really user-friendly and the game has a tendency to just drown you in unfair encounters. I actually think if you know what you're doing, Vogel's stuff is probably awesome and I've enjoyed some of the game, but I think overall it's not for me.
Neverwinter Nights 2 - I will not suffer through the starting area again. Fuck that, even if that means I won't get to play MOTB.
Fallout 2 - Same reason, also it's an overrated piece of shit tbh. Fallout 2 started the decline of the Fallout name, not FOBOS, not Tactics, not even the Bethsoft hiking simulators.
Beamdog Enhanced Editions - Really badly coded pieces of shit, with the most amazing bugs. Really, it's as if they released these games in their pre-alpha state sometimes. I won't even talk about the cringe original content that they added. Enhanced, my ass

Clickbait would imply that there's something to gain out of saying any of this, which there isn't.
And since you say that you cannot replay Infinity Engine games, I can tell that we have completely opposite views on this topic.

I rarely if ever replay games i played already.
Soulbringer however is the one game i will 100% never touch again.

It is atmospheric, there is some cool artwork and character design occasionally, some nice ideas here and there.
But it's just not a good game. Pretty ugly to look at too most of the time.

Looks kinda cool and not really that ugly. As early 2000s in visuals as it gets. However i never played it so i don't know how bad it really is.

Planescape Torment. I already know the plot and if I play it again it probably wouldn't be as interesting to me.
Wasteland 2 and Wasteland 3. They're fine but I think I seen everything the game has to show me.
Morrowind. I no longer care for open world games and can't stomach the idea of playing a game like this again.
Divinity Original Sin 1. Found it really boring and have no interest in going back.

Idk, whenever I like something enough to play it I end up returning to it. I do not count in "trying out" a game for a number of hours like Pillars or Wasteland.

I was convinced I would never touch Diablolikes again, but then I saw Path of Exile 2 footage and I must admit I am very interested in trying it.

Bethesda Fallouts are the definite ones that I will NEVER play again, those might be the only ones for me.

Kingmaker+WOTR. And I genuinelly liked parts in each of them.

The reason why there's so many people restarting these over and over isn't because of the smorgasbord of Pathfinder options available in character creation.

The reason why there's so many people restarting these over and over is because subconsciously everbody realizes that they've bought into a fun Pathfinder character creator. One that is tacked onto a rather mediocre campaign increasingly deteriorating into filler, brainless tedium and hours upon hours of copypaste content the longer each campaign progresses (and Owlcat ran out of time, money and quality controls -- again).

Shorter games are always gonna be ones that may seem more immediate attractive for a replay. However, having games that are twice as long as each of the original Baldur's Gates, whilst sporting five times the filler -- hard pass. Just thinking of areas such as the House At The Edge Of Wild Hunt Mobsters is CRPG nightmare fuel.

Are you kidding me? Trolling is a reward on its own.
My opinion on IE games (=that some are decent and others are lacking) has nothing to do with you exaggerating like a woman (=all Fallouts are terrible!).

Let's roll it down:

1- Tyranny/Tranny: Definitely a one-off playing it soon after release. Story comes off relatively strong at first before you realize the game's "storyline and world" is nothing but painted cardboard all over. Design is dull as hell and 99% of all quests revolve around the same main plot, which is as hollow as the writers minds. Game tries to stroke your ego by painting you at first as some kind of "stronk general" with false authority that starts off with shittier weapons than the lowest grunt and is equally forced to do fetch quests in order to progress while forcing you to pick sides. Absolute fiasco.

2- Dragon Age Origins: Played the definitive shit out of it, nothing much more than that. Suffice to say no fucks are given about anything that supersedes it.

3- IWD: Was definitely a great first and only run, despite barely playing its poorly implemented expansion. May play it as part of BG:EET but of course never again standalone. Likewise with II.

4- Nox: (yes, its an aRPG) Great experience without any replayability to speak of. Fun while it lasted.

5- Underrail: Lategame is a bit lackluster when thinking in terms of effort/reward when not using a cheese build. Latest dlc is not great but not terrible, but might not be worth finishing up at all, even with the new weapons.

6- VTM: Bloodlines: Usually not too much to see after Malkav run. Nevertheless a lifetime experience.

7- Wasteland II: Played soon after release. Huge disappointment, even while not really expecting it to be another Fallout. Mid to lategame is absolute trash.

8- Divinity II: Fun at first but full-on jank. Not even worth a minute of gameplay.

9- Kult: Heretic Kingdoms: Yet another snore provider, tried it out to ditch it minutes after. Easiest to forget in this list.

10- Gothic III: Basically the only functional part of that game is the exit button in the menu screen.

I have a bad habit of rarely finishing games, but even so some I'll play again and again. But an RPG (I think?) I'll never go back to is Darkest Dungeon, neat game and concept but at the end of the day it's all grind and meta knowledge it seems. Wastes way too much of my time for little reward.
Diablo likes are also a genre I think I'm burned out by but I can't exclude the possibility of ever playing one again, unlike DD.
