Five minute gameplay video. Would still be interested to see more about character generation.

Fuck me. I thought someone is at the door.

That wood pecking sound for the text is horrific.

Codex 2013 Codex 2014 PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Grab the Codex by the pussy Serpent in the Staglands
The party moves around like green link red link pink link blue link in Four Swords Adventures.

The sense of scale on the overmap is totally fucked up. The party towers over other NPCs, caves entrances, trees and some buildings, but other building seem more adequately scaled as compared to the party but are still comoletely out of whack, with "a small window" being the size of an entire stand of pines.

I thought the party scale was bad until the video showed a horse walking around on the overlap that was the size of Godzilla. It fills a quarter of the fucking screen.

For the rest, I am unconvinced that this isn't RPG maker.

kieferd20 I'd like to know more about the game.
Can you elaborate about character creation? How many characters do I create? I assume you choose a race and class, do you allocate points to stats, skills? How do you gain new skills, only by gaining levels, through exploration, at shops?
It's open world, is there some form of monster level scaling to your own level (I hope not)?
How is the encounter difficulty : scaled to an area? Is the difficulty very varied from an encounter to another in a same area? How would do you describe progression in the open world : do monsters become harder as you travel further from the start in any direction or are the difficult dungeons spread across the entire world? Do you need key items to unlock new parts of the world?
In the short video you can buy a shovel, are there some cool interactions with the environnement? Can you describe skill usage outside combat? Are there any inventory/skill puzzles like in classic adventure games?
Are there different ways to solve a few/some/most quests?
How are divided the quests : is there a small main quest and a lot of side quests or something like that? Do you "have to" follow the main quest or can you follow your own road and just kill the villain at the end to win?

Well at least this is made with GameMaker or RPGMaker and not fucking Unity so props to you for that, OP.

What dictated your choice of engine, anyway? You could go with shitty Unity, or with CryEngine/UE free versions, but you seem to be sticking to the more oldschool dev tools.

It looks like they took the same marketing and PR management lessons in on-line college, as the makers of the old school instant classic Black Geyser.

RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In
From the title I thought it was an another Japanese porn RPG.

EDIT:
Also the game is an RPG maker title, this is not debatable. Characteristic sound effects, the inn, shop menu and attack selection menu pretty much give it away.

Well...to say the least I am not a salesman :)
As far as races there are 7, also 7 classes. The game is nothing like those jrpg maker games. Savage Bliss is more like a rogue. it is top down view you can have up to 6 characters in your party and 2 npc's
there are cities with dwarves as well.

for some reason the bolded line had me laughing in my chair.
