You have a worrying habit of leaving every place you visit in ruin, Sadja

Great game. Too bad we never got that "Adventures of Staffman" sequel.

Just a small glitch happening in an unrelated conversation that made the entire thing funny. The bear is not part of the cutscene, he's just a summoned creature that just stayed there while the characters are talking about something else.

Started playing Might and Magic I using Grid Cartographer. A lot of grinding going on right now, not sure how I feel about that. The level-ups feel good, though.
Oh, and Grid Cartographer is a nice program.

HD pack is... questionable.
I'd either play it with original assets or just buy Black Mesa and indulge your inner graphics whore.

why
MP5->assault rifle
and
Glock->Beretta
replacement (so them sharing ammo pool no longer makes sense, neither does pistol firing underwater).
Also changing the look and feel of some stuff needlessly (like snark nests).

It's basically an official equivalent of modders gonna mod.

And these days it's not making that much difference IF you really want better looking HL1, because if you do, then BM scratches that itch, and if you want the original experience, then play the original experience with original assets.

The M16 doesn't even seem to have the same recoil or damage values, or at least the combat feels very different with it somehow. The MP5 is much more pleasing in terms of its appearance and sound. As for the HD pack as a whole, it's not even that it doesn't fit with the otherwise lower-detail environments, it's just not as good stylistically as Valve's designs.

Both Ori games are very beautiful, but second one is just fantastic! And I absolutely love how they made Ori move, so smooth. Only complaint for 2 is some of the overly long escape sections and one or two annoying boss.
