Gave Tyranny another chance though I'm not sure whether I'm liking it or not. It suffers from many issues Pillars does and I couldn't bring myself to complete that one for the life of me. I initially gave it a try when it released and I remember ditching it before even finishing the first act.

Loved Tyranny for its unique setting. I liked PoE more (i mean its the best cRPG in decades) but Tyranny on its low budget is a good effort and fun as well.

Actually I should probably say something about the game.

It's fun enough that I'm trying to do another playthrough with other character class.
Soldier is a bit of an easy mode with health regen (which can be improved) and good initial weapon loadout, but there was still some good hijinx in that playthrough, like me winning killer robot in straight firefight (because of improved regen), my attempt to start zombie apocalypse in uptown or me burning a nightclub to the ground with can of oil in industrial area.

I'd say no.

It was promising 5 years ago, but it will never be finished, and what's there just isn't a good enough game to recommend. That being said, there are some people who love it and it's only 14 bucks or so. So there's that.
