finally, after a week of torment, this abomination of a game is finished. 2/5 I did not like it, I'll rather watch it on youtube than play it.

I said in the thread. Imagine if Dark Messiah of Might & Magic and Mount & Blade had a child and the game is a noble wizard simulator. Sadly crashes too much, but the game has a lot of cool spells. Telekinesis for eg, can be used to disarm enemies, to throw enemy spears against themselves, throw barrels and so on.

Metro Exodus

After getting a bad ending on my first playthrough, I had to start all over again. But it was worth it. The semi-sandbox approach worked really well, there aren't any redundant eat/drink/sleep mechanics, only harsh environment and enemies to deal with. The customization workbench is a smooth break from venturing. I hope 4A team makes the next part bigger, with the same attention to details and quality. The game puts to shame most western AAA releases, when it comes to the graphics.

Verdict: Quality Metroid experience, on par with Super Metroid & Zero Mission. Too bad about no save stations before bosses, I got killed twice because of that, having to replay huge segments of the game. Fucking modders turing into developers, mang.

Just got it from GOG and played few hours. True, art, design etc. all the clutter is great and doesn't feel like the level designers were just stuffing junk everywhere randomly. Also Russian VA is terrific.

I had a lot of trouble with a fight in Dungeon Rats. It turns out that I didn't have to change my tactics all that much. It was simply time for some much needed upgrades. It made a huge difference.
