Yeah, I'm still in the discovery phase but I've already thought that with some slightly deeper mechanisms and more actions to do around mysteries it could have been a real killer. Very feel-good however, you can tell it's a labour of love.

Doom 2 In City Only is pretty fun WAD with a fun idea(every map is a big explorable "city" map) but can be quite exhausting to play. Still only halfway done.
I was playing a couple of other things meanwhile.

BYOC gameplay mod, aka Bring Your Own Class seems to be all the rage lately.

A mod that allows you to play as a characters like Ash Williams from Evil Dead, Tony Soprano, Morshu, AVGN, Postal dude, literal who OC Donut Steels and a shitton of well animated characters from Pizza Tower for some reason. Balance is all over the place obviously but there is clearly a lot of effort was put towards making these characters distinct and fun to play as.
The mod is developed primarily for Zandronum sourceport and is focused on co-op multiplayer but nothing prevents you from loading any custom WAD and playing singleplayer with it.
Completed two WADs with it, The Lost Magic and DBP 36 Aquatic Wonder. The Lost Magic has a pretty short levels for a 30 maps long megawad which i like and DBP 36 is only like 6-7 maps longs - both are pretty good WADs. Will probably be replaying The Lost Magic at some point as the character i chose for it was pretty overpowered.

The last one is a High Noon Drifter, a wild west themed gameplay mod.

I wanted to try this mod for quite some time. It's pretty cool indeed.
Played it on a single map WAD called Weird West and El Viaje de Diciembre which is 5-6 maps long.
