How is the gameplay?

It's third person combat with a first person mode which you charge up then activate at will. You have various stances and special moves that you can customise and power up with collectables. At first I felt it was OK, but I'd lean more towards good now that I found a setup I like. I'm using the Slash and Boxing stances, with Rising Punch, Multi Strike and Spin Kick. Projectile can be handy too, but the duck incorporated into spin kick made it must-have for me.

It rewards thorough exploration with shit hidden in nooks and crannies everywhere, and there's also a seperate night version of the world and character with new enemies etc.

The gorgeous art and bizarre story and atmosphere are the best parts, just like in the Zeno Clash games. I would have preferred Zeno Clash 3, but this is a solid :4/5:
Sounds good, I'll grab it on a sale.

First time in maybe 13 years. I only wanted enough footage for a point I was making, but ended up completing Mumbo's Mountain again (in twenty minutes, with little memory of where anything was). Really appreciate that you can keep collecting and aren't taken out as soon as you find a puzzle piece like in Mario 64 with the stars.

Never got into Banjo Tooie. Maybe some day.

These terrorists look weird.
gzdoomvVqGupQCCF.png

OH SHIT!!! Terrorists have turned to satanic worship and have recruited demons into their ranks! Will need more firepower!

More demons!

It was a bold move to introduce demons into a Call of Duty main campaign but i am not complaining.

The mod is called Call of Doom: Black Warfare. WAD is DBP 58 Immortal Warfare.
