Pretty sure it's still in beta. Looks awesome so far though.

Tempting to play it now but I'd hate to run into any deadends or unfinished areas, would rather wait until it's complete.

Actually there's an "import character" option that I'm not sure about but probably lets you keep your character / save for the full game.
