So after seeing the light, we decide to collect a bounty. On the way there, we meet a wandering giant. Since our tank Ronnie got eaten by a dragon (RIP Ronnie), let's give this thing a wide berth.
While we wait until it goes away, we notice there's a standing stone nearby! There even seems to be a pilgrim paying his respects...
...that's not a pilgrim. The sanctity (?) of this place has been fouled.
She animates her test subjects and then summons the ghost of a troll. He makes short work of my companions, but this gives me time to shoot a firebolt at her. A single shot isn't enough, and she starts healing. A charged firebolt takes her out, and with her the undead thingies. She fired an ice storm and used her lightning staff once or twice, but missed.
Let's touch the stone...
She was studying this tome, it seems.
Hello, buddy.
Sweet loot from a sweet ass.
I have an idea. Since the bandit leader is hiding close by, I'll use the stone to raise a personal army and storm his tower. I drag all the skeletons to the altar, and the necromancer chick as well. Don't you two look at me like that, I'm not doing anything weird with her. Just raising her as my devoted slave.
Let's do this!
A close-up of a khajiit skeleton...
...and an argonian one.
You guys ready?
CHAAARGE! The necromancer can cast ice storm, which is awesome.
One bandit is smarter than the others and decides to snipe me from the highest point of the tower. I manage to hit him with a firebolt and he falls into the river.
I don't think he had anything worthwhile, anyway. There's also a ton of bandits coming out of that other tower.
She can also still summon her troll. I wonder if I should keep her instead of that useless Arvel, who got downed by the goddamn cook, the first guy we engaged. In response, I enraged him and made him kill his friend, who was eating delicious soup.
The boss tries to surrender, but gets an ice spike to the face. Mission complete. The guy behind him is Arvel, being useless like always.
So many bodies...
...but as I loot them, night falls and vampires come out of nowhere.
Oh, FFS. More of you?
This is getting too dangerous, I need higher ground.
One of them tries to chase me up the hill, but the stench of fresh corpses attracted two sabercats who make a meal of her.
I stay perched on a rock until they lose interest. From here, I can take a look at the carnage. Let's loot them all, starting by the sabercat lunch.
Looks messy...also, some interesting loot.
Let's burn the body
so it won't come back to life for the lulz.
2spooky
fun fact: looting the khajiit and argonian skeletons brings them back to un-life, but hostile.
