@zwanig_zwoelf are you playing with noise effect on? I had to disable it. Looks like a snowy, blinding mess in 1080p but doesn't seem so harsh in your shots. Maybe it's from widescreen mod.

I always do that bit by pimping up an Assault Rifle with Anti-Personnel rounds and going postal on everything and everyone. With the extended magazine upgrade I don't even have to reload.

Yes, I do System Shock 2 popamole style. But ONLY at that segment.

Yeah, I always keep the noise effect on in this game. Try to tone the brightness down. Also, no mods used - just a quick 'find & replace' of hex values.
