And fuck, this is so good. A real challenge, with cool mechanics and a lot of choices. Why can't "normal" RPGs be this interesting?

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Doom 3

After the E3 and information regarding the Doom : Eternal I've decided to do the replay along with the expansion. The engine still holds up and after setting everything to maximum the lighting effects are impressive even now. There are many overhaul projects that add to the game new textures and graphic options but I don't have a computer good enough to test them. The 5.1 sounds is excellent, high quality mixing with a large samples volume. Only the weapons still feel weak compared to the alpha version that was leaked after earlier E3 in 2002. Heavy metal was replaced by dark ambient, horror and industrial style when it comes to the base concept of Doom. Playing on the hard difficulty, I think the game was properly balanced. Exception goes to the Barons of Hell, which feel weaker compared to their earlier 2d brothers. Arch-viles could be used more often as well. Spider like things called Trites are really creepy and they can kill us easily if we are swarmed. Definitely not something arachnophobes would want to see in their games. The boss fights have their little gimmicks, instead of just feeding them with bullets/plasma/rockets.
I think it's one of the biggest single player campaigns in FPS genre that was ever made. Delta Labs still holds well as my favorite part of the game along with Hell, which was sadly too short for my taste.
