It's a fun game, but IMO it takes a significant turn for the worse once you're done with the first, bounty-hunting half.

It's the remastered version. I remember it being very buggy at launch but it seems to work fine now. To my surprise it even supports 4K resolution and the frame rate can be uncapped or limited to whatever you want in the settings.
After finishing Alien Vs Predator I found out about Aliens arcade game that was released earlier by Konami. Without any hesitation I decided to see why it doesn't show on "must play" lists.
Well, after inserting the virtual coin we already know somethings is not right. Since when Ripley is a blonde cosplaying Napoleon Dynamite? The aliens looks also strange and it is just a beginning.
We need to kill the blue alien penis head to finish the level.
A dirty old flying alien kidnapping Newt. The expression on her face tell us all we need to know what she experienced during the development of this game.
Right, now we have tight corridors and Alien vs Castlevania with alien manlets trying to kill us. Where is my whip?
Panzeralien shooting ... something. I don't even know what to think about it.
Gigantic anus alien, who probably influenced the prototype of Stones of Arnhem. The alien occasionaly shoots from its "mouth" as well. The more we shoot at it, the more red he becomes. Enough said! It's time to get dirty.
Finally something sticking to the original. Almost, because I don't remember mutated zombies still trying to shoot us.
I admit, Konami had the balls to develop the game considering what is the end product.
From which creature did the chestbuster came to bring this guys to life?
The flamethrower is the coolest weapons due to the death animations.
Electrical alien with a twin brother.

Used to play it in the local Cashade regularly, great game.

I like the other endings too, with the text slides on how my actions had consequences on the wasteland. but that right there is imo the best ending of any RPG ever: sent out to kill the big bad guy? nah, fuck it - let's join his army of disgusting mutants and make this shitty world even shittier.
Finished Doki Doki Littérature club. While I am more than willing to give points for originality, it's a game that doesn't manage to surprise past the initial twist. Shame. Interesting but not worth of all the memes and buzz.

If someone told you about a story-driven fantasy game made by people who hate fantasy and have repeatedly referred to their own characters as "annoying", "disgusting" and "stupid", you probably wouldn't expect much from them. And you'd be right. "Drag-on Dragoon" - as cheeto-stained weebs call it - is a narratively incoherent, badly-executed mishmash of subverted genre tropes and teenage edginess splattered across 13 chapters of a mediocre musou ripoff, with the tedium broken only by slightly more entertaining aerial combat sequences. Incest, child soldiers, baby cannibalism and sexual frustration are unveiled via story missions and unlockable side-quests dumped haphazardly amidst 30hrs of repetitive button-mashing within ugly, muted environments and illuminated solely by dull, grey lighting. Imagine watching a "transgressive" student film project whilst sitting through band camp recitals for special needs students and you have a sense of what Drakengard is all about. I played up to the fourth ending and watched the final Nier-continuity rhythm boss on youtube, though I'd recommend anyone who cares about the events of the game (which was only retconned to tie in to future titles at a much later date) use the latter option for the entire story. There isn't even any good porn of Caim x Furiae, so what was the point?
