How many hours did it take you to get there?
227 hours played of Elite, but it was somewhere around 30 hours of void opal mining (Roughly. And that's including finding my own opal hotspots and fitting my ship for mining and everything) during this goldrush to bump my trade rank up so much. Trade was my lowest non-CQC rank since I'm not super wild about space trucking in Elite, but the mining counts toward it and ranks you up crazy fast compared to regular trading. Always figured I'd get exploration elite first since I'm on the rank just before it, but I'll be damned. The nice thing about getting elite is you can go to the Jameson Memorial station which sells all ships and components at a 12% discount, so that removes almost all the busywork of shopping/customizing ships. Otherwise you want to look at powerplay to find the factions that offer discounts (Which are still better at 15%, but eh) and then look at the galactic map to find systems under their control that likely have good shipyards, so high tech booming systems, etc. Now I can be a lazy fucker when I want to dink around with ships instead of flying over hell's half acre looking for parts.

Lots of stupid choices in the final map. Why would you choose a lvl 3 Magic Guild when you already know all or most of the lvl 3 spells?

And why would you pay 10,000 for an artifact that only marginally increased your Power and Knowledge?

Also, as far as I remember, those sharpshooters are really strong.

MGSV: Ground Zeroes. This is one of the most impressive levels in all of stealth gaming. The FOX engine is a fucking marvel (runs at 60fps at 4k without breaking a sweat on my 6 year old 3570k + 1070), animations are brilliant, there's a lot of interactivity everywhere. This came out in 2014 but still looks better on every level than pretty much everything else out there.

What a shame that Konami turned into a grubby pachinko company and booted Kojima off. The dude's gone off the deep end but damn, he assembled some of the most technically proficient japs in the history of videogames.

I'm not a fan of the final iteration of MGS 5, but this level shows what it could have been under a tighter direction and without open world shit being forced by corporate overlords. It's 3 bucks during this Steam sale. Buy it and play it if you haven't. The only downside is the lack of David Hayter. Kiefer just ain't good enough.
