Do you really think the Codex expects a "classic" from a two man team with a 10,000 dollar Kickstarter?
It could at least be a scaled-down classic. A short (Fallout-length) game wouldn't be bad if it had good design and systems.

I'm expecting something on the line of Underrail and Paper Sorcerer. Not a classic, but still a great game well worth my time & money.

What expectations?

Do you mean we dont have expectations?

This KS is popular because it's an underdog with nice pixel art graphics, not because people are expecting a masterpiece. I thought that was obvious.

I expect anything from you mainland degenerates, but thats besides the point. Anytime this kind of crpg, the ones that appeal to glorious codex favorites past, codexers invariably get their hopes up, only to be gradually disappointed as they get their hands on the product.

Still, if they manage half the quality of Underrail, ill be a happy pirate, graphics do look nice.

At this point I'm not expecting an RPG classic from anyone anymore, not from big publishers, not from high-profile kickstarters, and epecially not from small indies. The most I am hoping for are fairly enjoyable games which will to me seem better than they really are, because of nostalgia-fuelled endorphins rush.

For everyne's sake, let's all hope I am wrong.

I thought somebody was complaining before about the glacial movement speed. I can't find the post now, but anyway, they've pepped it up quite a bit:

Still a few early bird slots left if this looks better for $15.
