All the portraits should have had glasses (or bionic eyes)... The ones that do look the best.

Has any Obsidian game other than Alpha Protocol gone over budget and/or been delayed? Usually they just release an 80% done game on time.

Also, I suspect if you graphed budget against quality of game, it would be a bell curve, with the top being around 20 million (in 2013 dollars). So the difference between 1.2 million and 3 whatever million Obsidian has after expenses is a huge difference. Even bigger than than the 3x the numbers show.

What a strange time this is. Actually looking forward to games being released in the near future. I think I might be getting the vapors/I can't wait to have my hopes and dreams crushed.

Hmmm you cant mod or add ANY new art ??? WHAT WHAT WHAT? Is that correct?? Thats a huge a deal and pretty much a deal breaker for any serious modding.

They are not providing any in game interface to change art assets. However when people figure out how to hack the art asset data files they said they won't have a problem with that. Similar to the many hacking tools for NWN/NWN2 that exist but Atari had no problem with people supporting or providing such tools.

Some guy playing around in the editor. Not a fan of "Protect!" flashing over the head of the person you have to escort, but other than that it looks spiffy:

Protect the V.İ.P. for dummies ... But yeah other than that it looks like its solid.
We are going to try to project one of our PnP campaigns, probably after finishing singleplayer campaign after once.

The "Protect!" is the NPC announcing it's been given an order to protect the triggering PC. You'll notice that's how he set up the goal to make her follow the PC. It's not a quest compass.

The quest compass is when the guy adds a popamole Waypoint afterwards. But those can be excluded in monocle custom missions.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Is this really coming out this month? I can't find anything later than April that confirms this. I'd expect some more news by now if it were coming out in the next few weeks.

It will be probably delayed. Otherwise they would hype it right now.

It's not getting delayed, they literally don't have the money to work on it beyond this month. :M

They're not hyping it because they're all too busy crunching.

Really looking forward to this one. I enjoyed their vertical slice demo. I'm hoping that the gameplay is a bit deeper storywise though than that. ;)
