Infinitron There's some discussion during the show about their plans to move forward now that they have been Greenlit on Steam (plus insight on how Greenlight works), when Shysnake anticipates the game releases and a possible price. Also some discussion on the realism level of the game engine.

This Episode: We begin exploring Cliff's Edge, challenge a martial artist to a duel to the death, and encounter a lonely stichus, a weepy levy and a nervous baker.

What's the scoop on the game? I've seen some headlines but haven't had time to check it out. When will it go on Steam?

This Episode: The exploration of Cliff's Edge continues. The Chirurgical Parlor's options appeal to us, but we need more shins (let's be honest, them Wolverine claws are sweet like a mug). We save the lone stichus and help a young man find his path.

This episode: Taking down that succubus and her flunky isn't the easiest thing we've done in the game, but we finally manage it only to get waylaid by another fairly tough fight soon after. We recruit a highly unexpected ally, but we'll need to keep en eye on him. Next up: the Evermoors!

This Episode: Welcome to the Fifth Eye Tavern. It's a neighborhood bar in Cliff's Edge where you can have interesting conversations, drink random fluids pumping up from somewhere far below, recruit warriors into the Endless Battle, and get strangled by ghostly women. Oh yeah, there's also the living embodiment of the concept of the letter "O".

This Episode: The Fifth Eye Tavern continues as we chat with veterans of psychic wars, put the civilization-destroying Words of Qra in our noodle (because why not), puzzle out who isn't real, and offer to locate and fight a terrible adversary called The Adversary. Bottoms up!

This episode: We begin exploring the Evermoors and quickly realize we need our mage back! Trolls, onis and worgs, oh my! Is that peasant our friend? Rock piles are very generous.

Burger Heineman will be on the show tomorrow (June 24th) at 1 PM Central / 11 AM Pacific talking Dragon Wars. Burger was the lead programmer for Dragon Wars, which was essentially the original Bard's Tale IV.

I usually don't post non-CRPG stuff here, however this video is about an interesting playtest initiative system for D&D 5E from Mike Mearls and given CRPGs relation to tabletop RPG systems and mechanics I thought folks might be interested.

This episode: We have a nice bit of combat and make headway on a couple of quests. The Ghostly Woman's story begins to unfold, and we finally help the sculptor finish his piece by finding the information he desperately needed. A young woman decides to hang out in my mind in a peaceful manner. The Labyrinth now has a Sorrow fragment infestation. Lovely.

This episode: We enjoy some nice combat courtesy a drone with delusions of grandeur in the Anechoic Lazaret, put in a good word for Qorro, enjoy some nice banter between Rhin and Callistege and get reminded that the the Cult of the Changing God may revere me somewhat but they still want to shake me down.

 

[sstacks]

This episode: We fight a bunch of spiders in the Evermoors, find Rhylfang's Lair but can't get in, and stumble across a broken down "hamlet" in the middle of nowhere. Lady Andra seems a mite suspicious.
