I suppose I mean if he still has the same "stretch goal" draw he has had in previous KS he's been a part of. This will give Fargo (and MCA for that matter) a gauge by which they can assume the impact he would have by being advertised as the "next lead on InXile's Mangum Opus of RPGs... VAN BUREN!!!" when they decide to launch it later.

At least in inXile nobody will scrap his work (shit or not shit), just because he is MCA. And even now they have not scraped this novel for WL2. So i believe we will really see Van Buren KS in Q1 - Q2 2016.

I doubt that'd even be a factor. Aside from the fact that he's already done that - twice, arguably - Bard's Tale 4 is way too far down the road, Avellone is too much of a workaholic to wait that long, and inXile is just about the last company Avellone would need to audition for before joining. It's a matter of them working out a deal, assuming both sides are interested.

Probably very little, it was all hype with poe and it ends up only being two characters ,even there they butchered part of it . Most of the writing I read was poor backer fanfic plastered everywhere.
