Tough call. NWN 2 OC is long and dull. The influence it has on MotB is minimal outside of one particular interaction. It's difficult for me to recommend playing it. You'll get a good experience simply starting from MotB with no prior knowledge of the NWN 2 OC.

The camera shits its pants when there's any obstruction above characters and on elevations (talking about strategic view, the only one that matters ofc). Pretty bad in towns/uneven terrain, passable otherwise.

MotB is basically the only reason to play NWN2, everything else is bogged down by atrocious engine, loading times and questionable writing. I want to recommend SoZ, really do, but I can't, not with all this loading and baby-sized locations. Also, install mod that stops soul meter drain during pause.

Huh? The meter doesn't go down when it's paused. It does when you're managing your inventory and reading things without being paused, which is incredibly irritating, yes.
