I don't think so. Didn't Torment have well over 100k by this time?

Torment made 300k in 1.5 hours. Do the math.

Yes, Torment was growing faster. Though with that beginning it's probably going to reach the goal without problems.

Why? There's plenty of other things to look forward to now. Live and let live.

Ewwww... taxes? Does that mean I have to constantly worry about that? What if I take a few months off?

@ Marc ~ If you don't want to pay taxes, then be sure to pledge as a Citizen, Lord or Baron! :)

Well, if nothing else, listening to Garriott talk about the Ultima series on the stream is interesting. At the very least you can tell he's enthusiastic about what he does. Unfortunately, apparently Ultima Online is his favorite work.

It's not exactly an MMORPG; according to him it's designed so you can play it completely offline and by yourself. But diluting it with all this multiplayer and LARPing stuff can only be a bad thing for fans of U1-7. :(

As a great fan of the old Ultima games I was pretty much willing to throw money blindly at Garriott UNLESS he went all mmorpg (or social media or iphone/tablet) at me. And goddamn, that's exactly what he did.

Fuck.

Image you and 10,000 people playing the same exact story in Ultima VII. Where in the fuck is my personal story like the Ultimas?

Unless of course there are separate stories you can BUY or some other ridiculous shit.

honestly I like the graphics. looks like gothic 2 or something. gritty shitty 3d. same as Rune, Severance and some other games.

what I don't like, graphically, is the interface.

I could do better in 5 minutes.

as for crafting, housing... who gives a shit. what about combat? looks like it's just hack n slash to me.

is it even possible to be all that anally devastated over this?

I mean we got Torment 2: Electric Boogaloo and that sexy Shadowrun footage, not to mention P:E, W2 and CC...shit, even I know you can win them all.

but fuck, I've actually seen numerous NWN modules that are far more interesting and appealing.

Oh gawd, can we release the BSN people onto this project?

For the love of all that is holy, someone make sure BNS know about this game.

ROMANCES!

A hack and slash MMO? That's just disgusting. :decline: This is blatantly banal, shit, boring. Do not pledge.

Well, you saw the encounter with the armored skeletons. Whack, bam.
I did!

I think I'll cut them some slack until they actually have an update on combat. Even ARPGs can be fun to play.
buuuuut... I don't think I'll ever pledge, regardless :P
