Richard Garriott: Mobile and social platforms represent “third grand era of computer games”If it's a proper game, I'll be all happy and looking forward to it cause LB is some real batshit insane eccentric guy and I like that.
If it's an MMO or shitty social game, fuck it.
It's said that he spent most of his money on his space adventure, yes.
He was pretty much broke after the space trip, is the common rumor. But afterwards he did successfully sue NCSoft for $28 million, so uh...I think he has enough money.
Oh, how Jaesun will rage.
Courtesy of T.D. from Horizons Tavern, let me present this intriguing image:
This was apparently taken from the content tree of some sort of cloud hosting service, the link to which was found in the source for the Lord British Presents website. The link now leads to a 403 Forbidden error, but T.D. was able to nab the above before that setting was enabled.
Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues? Oh, this is going to be good. Also, it would seem that my guess, below, was correct: this game will be on Kickstarter.
Most definitely.Oh, this is going to be good.
Maybe he worked something out with EA in return for him shilling their Ultima abomination.Isn't he going to run into legal troubles using the name avatar in a such a blatant way after selling his IP to EA?
He still has the rights for Avatar, among other things like the Lord British name.Isn't he going to run into legal troubles using the name avatar in a such a blatant way after selling his IP to EA?
What are the stuff from the Ultima IP that he still owns?Richard Garriott @RichardGarriott
