Skyrim is worse than Oblivion in every way

They had destruction improve with leveling by lowering cost, so you can spam it. It's not as fun as more power and it doesn't work well with high level HP bloated enemies anyway. Stupid.

You can still be an effective caster though, using conjuring and such.

For a mage the best would be a combination of cost reduction for your spells (up to and beyond 100% so your spells are free). Make either a full set of items that reduce casting for all schools or make several robes of free casting and combine them with other parts of more health.

So I discovered that mage's spell from the stores scales with your level.
Oh for fuck's sake. This is kinda lame.
But Bound Bow with 20 skill on Archery does 50 damage from range - and since it's a sneak attack it's 100 per pop.
So Popamole.

Yep. For every 25 levels you get more spells; at level 90 you can get the ultimate spells after a quest (the alteration one you can only get after starting the main quest, the destruction one requires copious amounts of following on vague clues just like in Morrowind.

Oh, and if you get to Labyrinthian makes sure to check in the eastern part of it on the overworld to find Shadilor's Maze. There's some interesting stuff there.

Can't be arsed to search if it's already been posted, but a Skyrim to Morrowind total conversion is on its way. Skywind.

They have the world builded so far, still missing everything else unfortunately.

OK, what about armor enchant choices?
Archer builds go for Archery boosts. Cause 20% boost of damage is insane when all 4 pieces (Hand, Helm, Ring, Amulet) are combined together.
Same deal with 1H/2H - they need damage, though in 1H case - you better off dual wield or you're not taking advantage of the dual enchant damage.
For mages....eh. I don't know what to give him. He could use more HP, cause he has none. He could use more armor, cause he's like tissue. But mana regen is a bitch, and spamming pot is pretty normal for non-Bound weapon builds.
Mages are utter shite overall in vanilla.

Despite Enchanting being the "crafting for mage type" skill, mages can't even enchant anything as robes already come with unbeatable enchant, there are almost no gloves and they use spells for fighting anyway :D

If they actually remade Morrowind, quests and all, I would be into it. Chances of that happening: 0%.

Still neat for videos though.

Esha, over-confident in her quest to extract the sap of the Eldergleam tree did not realize that the Spriggan matrons are a foe you cannot face directly in hand to hand combat...

And nature's fury is unrivaled.

The roots held her down as the roots parted the entry of her groin, the spriggan's seeds pour forth.

She screams.

That's actually a pretty interesting concept, if only it wasn't for the whole getting raped thing.

No armor, but +150 Mana and Stamina. That's a pretty good trade off for those who want to spam more spell.

Yes, but you secretly harbor rape fantasies.
