Right now you're in newbie island. People are pretty chill there. The real ragers come when you get close ot level 30 in unranked and in the 1000-1400 ELO ranged bracket.

People tend to be a lot more chill in premades, so if you mostly play with 5 friends you'll dodge the worst of it.

I really want to get into this or HoN, but it seems like people spend more time being discontent than enjoying these games. Are there noob servers for this game, or adults only servers? A single player mode beyond the tutorials?

Honestly none of them are really fun. It's so easy to just have a really unfun bad time playing these types of games and that's what you'll do most of the time. I only play Dota because my friends like it for some reason, even though they hate playing it too.

In the unlikely event that all 4 of us are playing, we figure "well we have 4 non-retarded people so we won't get sunk by one absolute retard because I mean there's only one random person on our team" but you know what the probability of that fifth person being absolutely retarded is? 100%

Yeah. It's Own3d.tv scaling the resolution down to deal with the fact that there's 71k people watching the stream.

Sucks that it happens, but then again, I don't want to imagine the kind of connection it'd take to stream HD quality 71679 times.

Man I love this Lord Mordekaiser skin, now that I got it, I feel like it's the only way Morde should look like.
Ever since getting the skin, I've started tor really play the hero, and I sort of got some hit and miss with him.
When tanking, I like to go for D. Shield->Force of Nature/Sunfire (depending on the other team's composition, I might get both)->Warmog->Whatever (Maybe I'll get a Rylai if I feel cocky).
If I'm going for a caster build, then I like to go Hextech->Sheen->Rabbadon->Rilay->Lich Bane-> Abyssal Scepter.
Both of them work, but I was wondering if you guys might guide me with some tips for builds. As for runes, I only have magic pen+ a few CD Red. for now, I'll have to work on getting more asap.
Skill wise, I level E->W->Q, I'm pretty sure that's the best way to level him up, so no biggie there.
Oh and Flash+Ignite, of course.
I'm actually curious why I haven't seen Morde in tournament play, since he definitely feels like a solid pick, I really dont know.

I've had that discussion a LOT of times.

Mordekaiser is not viable for tournament play. The reason Mordekaiser works is because he can get strong if people let him farm indefinately. If he gets counterpicked and/or disrpted he is a huge liability mid/late game. Mordekaiser is the terror of noobs, but experienced players don't really worry about him all that much.

Anyone who takes Morde in a tournament is likely to get lynched by their team.

I think I could get used to playing a tank, been playing cho'gath tankily for a bunch of games and I am loving it and not only because I now have a very convenient excuse for when I die. Will probably buy him once the free time is over.
