Well as title says iam looking for some hard rpgs, cant find none. Did the pathfinder kingmaker on unfair, was tough at start, easy later. Did underrail on dominating difficulty... easy once you figure it out. Did wasteland 2 with some mod named little tweaks, started to be tough, once you break it, easy aswell. Baldurs gate, icewind dale, i cant look anymore at them so not interested in their difficulty mods. Dont even want to consider divinity original piss easy sin, i mean when you start the game on hardest difficulty and its easy right from the start with 0 knowledge... gtfo. Xcom i played long time ago i think it was the first one. When i realized that its totally stupid game with bug, i mean when it says for example 95 percent to hit, and you miss that shot from that position, no matter how many times you take the shot from that position it will always miss, so it seemed gamebreaking and stupid.
So anything else that isnt from pre 2000, like the stuff i keep coming on google like bards tale, wizardry and might and magic titles worth playing. It can be some hard mods aswell to recommend.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Pathfinder: Wrath
Wizardry 8 is from 2001. Try that one, by the time you are fighting topless Leaf Sprites you'll probably have faced harder stuff than anything you beat on Kingmaker.

Why don't you try Conflux 3, a free Dungeon Master mod ? Be warned it's very very challenging. Maybe the most challenging game I've ever played.

Some tips : one should began with only 2 characters, you will find more powerful ones later in the game.
In the Moria levels IIRC.
Also, Zeid Duke of Banville is a very important and educated character. He's the only one who can read glyphs written in some walls.

Most challenging games are mods. Developers do sucky-sucky to casuals/consoler players/Bioware fans so they are afraid to add challenging difficulties.
See how they nerfed difficulty for Solasta (highly doubt they will get in back).

Good challenging games/mods:

1. Legend of Grimrock 2. The Guardians. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1712260093
Play with full party at Hard difficulty.
IF you finish game (probably wont), go Solo instead of party of 4.

2. Dungeon rats. Choose Solo option.

3. Legend of Grimrock 1: Forbidden halls mod. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=105770756&searchtext=

4. Lords of Xulima. Deepest dark mod.

Elminage: Gothic
Wizardry Empire 2: Legacy Of The Princess
Wizardry 4: The Return of Werdna
Wizardry Gaiden 4: Beat Of The Demon's Heart
Romancing SaGa 2

What is wrong with you?

Also this are grinding fucking retarded jrpg (except W4) games, they are not difficult (except W4) if you just grind them.

There are 3 hard fights in whole game, you just named 2 of them.

Second half of the game is easy on Nightmare. Beginning is tough, though.

Well thanks for all replies. I see alot of reccomendations of the games with portraits waging war on another. Really not fan of those, they remind me to much of jrpgs, not a fan of those. Legend of grimrock 2 looks good for what it is, but i never liked those kinda games (with portraits).
Then age of decadence... i dont know it was on my radar but for some reason is ugly.
Dungeon rats looks ok, and dungeon od naheulbeuk looks ok bit childish but ok.
So best answer is "go get some air" xD.

Kings bounty crossworlds? I remember it was hard for me, but I don't remember if I played on the hardest difficulty, or the second hardest difficulty. Also, no, you can't grind your way out of this one, once you kill enemies they're dead forever, and eventually you'll run out of troop recruitments as well; that's what happend to me the first time I tried playing it, got stuck fighting a boss, managed to scramble enough gold to buy some more units, but then there weren't anymore left to recruit, anywhere!

Tale of Wuxia I thought was pretty hard, make sure you play this one on the hardest setting... nope, no grinding on this one either, well, there kinda is, but it's timed, it gives you some time to build your character up.

download openxcom and set "save scumming" on if you want rng to be different on reloads.
I dont get why someone (claiming to) desiring a challenge do that though.
also get x-piratez mod for it. tell us about your victories here
