Racemixed mutt abomination detected.Race mixing doesn't work like that. My younger brother is the only one of us with light hair, and he has lighter skin.Maybe she has a tan. Maybe she's a mixed race person. Maybe who gives a shit.
Out of all the valid and interesting criticisms or discussions you could have about this thing and the Scholars of Codexia come up with... her hair shouldn't be that shade of brown. What a disgrace.
The usual crouch-makes-quiet sneaking, cover shooting and cramped camera in combat look bland, and animations are janky/rigid, but it's an open world Ubisoft game, so who cares, who would buy it?

This is third-person action-adventure game in which players assume the role of an outlaw navigating the underworld of the Star Wars universe. As players explore open-world environments, they can accept missions/jobs for various criminal factions. Most missions involve using stealth to sneak through heavily guarded compounds or shooting through waves of hostile enemies. Players use a variety of gadgets and blaster-type weapons during missions. Players can perform dramatic punching takedowns when using stealth or close-quarter combat. Fighting is highlighted by futuristic gunfire, explosions, and cries of pain. During the course of the game, players can wager in-game currency on Sabacc, a blackjack-like card game with detailed rules; one area allows players to wager on fantasy races in order to further a plot point. The word “bastard” appears in the game.

Imagine a game about playing a criminal where this is the most horrific stuff in it! Really though, the most offensive thing is the use of "bastard". Literally every single use of the word in Star Wars I can find is under Disney except as a descriptor of the parentage of a literal bastard child. It strikes me as either a: a poor writer trying to be edgy (as weak as it is) without really understanding the setting and/or b: a weak/uncreative writer using profanity (again, as weak as it is) as a crutch for being unable to express a character's disgust naturally. The use of "damn" and "hell" (established in films) are enough real world swears in Star Wars for me.
and instead of making a Mad Max game sequel with it, they're making a Wonder Woman game.WB patented it. Seriously.

You don't even have to make it M. Darth Maul gets sliced in half in The Phantom Menace, and I'm pretty sure that was PG. Then again, ratings have been getting more and more weird over the years with depictions of cigarette smoking being counted as a factor in the rating and other crazy things.Star Wars fans have been asking for more modern, rated M (think cutting people in half with lightsaber or blowing them up with ion grenades) open world “rpg” based in the SW universe since forever. And now they make one but what do they do? Make the protagonist a woman, and you can’t even change the gender. Most people who watch Star Wars are men, and the vast majority of people who actually know, research, and are real fans of Star Wars are men. And let me guess, real world politics will be center point during the playthrough. No thanks, Star Wars is dead.
Star wars fans are now redditors and no one else. Old fans are long gone and this game is clearly aimed at the same audience as the Jedi survivor group. It will be extremely average. Like offensively average but dragged down by being more political garbage. Which is a shame as even an average star wars game is still worth playing. Force unleashed was very average and it made a fun afternoon.Star Wars fans have been asking for more modern, rated M (think cutting people in half with lightsaber or blowing them up with ion grenades) open world “rpg” based in the SW universe since forever. Star Wars is very much dead. This is what Disney is offering:
Pretty much all women and no white male in sight. The person behind the show is the lesbian that used to be Harvey Weinstein's right hand manlet. I'm pretty sure Disney is well aware that Star Wars fans are primarily male, but that's not stopping them with their "Force is Female" shit. It's funny because one of the actresses says something at one of the conferences that was showcasing this piece of shit along the lines of "Star Wars has always been patriarchal." I think this was last year, so after the sequel trilogy with Rey, after Rogue One, after Asoka's own show which was pretty much all female, after the Mandalorian passes the torch to a woman, and so on.
It's not just Star Wars fans but I think there's a decently sized large audience that hasn't been properly catered to since the Mass Effect trilogy, which was Bioware's budget brand version of Star Wars. And something that people have also been asking for and wanted for a long time is that experience but being able to play as something else than the vanilla male or female human that they like to restrict the player to for some reason. At the very least a competent developer would let the player get a go at playing as a Twi'lek, or Zabrak, or Chiss, since armor, clothes and animations wouldn't need to be changed.Star Wars fans have been asking for more modern, rated M (think cutting people in half with lightsaber or blowing them up with ion grenades) open world “rpg” based in the SW universe since forever. If you love RPGs like I do then Star Wars is a hotbed for neat possible character concepts. Personally I'd like to see a Star Wars CRPG with full party creation featuring at least some of these races but I know I'm in the minority.
Wouldn't that be cool? A party of six or eight? Just me? Okay. Maybe Ubisoft tried to compromise by not only forcing you to play as a human, but also as the most alien looking goblina conceived by man, but I can't say that makes me very excited for the game. Meanwhile it seems like corporations are purposefully ignoring this neglected audience that wants to create a character that they have ownership over and go on wacky pulp space adventures in a light RPG featuring well-written characters and possibly romances, because people are getting too horny of late. It doesn't need to be divisive and tribalist, just let the player make whatever character they want and let them meet attractive or at least interesting people and aliens that are well written and either likeable or asshole scoundrels that you love to hate. It's really not that hard.
Denuvo will make sure you escape this mediocrity, even if by force.I intend to acquire this game illegally
