I learned this a long time ago you just need to pick a staple or a character you know will always be in no matter what you cant one trick someone you are not sure is popular. I was only ever fucked a couple times but it seems that they now will always have to include the world warriors so I mainly played Guile.

I mained Ibuki in 3 and 4 but i didn't dig the changes they made to her in 5, so i ended up maining Laura instead.

Mai's model and animations all look great, but SF6 is such a bland, generic game where all characters play almost exactly the same (DR from neutral, cancel poke into DR extended combo 15-second super, throw loops in corner opponent guesses wrong easy 50%).

I played the first two months and have since had zero desire to boot it up.
