Something more tangible, I see. Let's wait until March to see if the game will be worth paying for.

(hint: it won't)

On a serious note, I am making a good progress in learning the details of Unreal Engine by mainly focusing on C++ development. I have delivered some code already. Now I am prototyping the dating system, branching dialogue and a skills tree. It is really exciting and I can't wait to show it to you guys very soon.
So maybe the game is right on track?

Dandy... I giant, bald, tubby coomer. Or is it actually being boned. Either way.... yuck.

The neon wall hallway shot of the ship combat looked kind of cool though.

This joke of a project should have been ready years ago and already filled to the brim with three times as much smut as it has right now, and have smut that is much more interactive and hi-res than it is right now.

Fucking scam.

Is that because game won't give player story context to form deep spiritual bond with squid waifu?
No, because you should never pay for a game that is still being worked on by its developers.

They should wrap this thing and start making content with Mila from Doa series again. Just saying.
Somewhere, a severed monkey's paw twitches and one of its gnarled fingers ominously curles. 3D models for dogs and horses are being reviewed and updated.

Apparently this new chapter offers an hour of actual story content, another hour of side content where you do the same shitty space and tacticool sections all over again, and five or so new gifs per girl, half of which are variations of old ones. That's in half a year of development. I would say that this game is firmly dead.

At least the morons are starting to wake up. A little too late, but it's still something.

What I find particularly confusing about this is the low quality of the 3D smut. You can go online and find better, longer, more detailed and higher poly 3D animated porn for free.

I thought FOW were famous for at least this, and even this component of the package is so very sub-par.

Final product will have unlockable average FOW smut? The cutscenes get released on pornhub & like sites for enthusiasts or those curious.

This leaves gameplay, graphics, sound, and interface. I won't even think of buying until it is finished and on discount. Is the shooter aspect going to get so frustrating by the end you'll hate it? Is the tactical battles worth a damn? What else is there besides romance VN to unlock sex scenes? Am I missing something?

I'll have to look at another recent vid as it has been a while.

It fails as a vn too because they overdosed on being goofy to the point of being obnoxious.
I feel sorry for all those voice actors who thought they were going to make it big

I got told by a friend about a game called "Callisto", that's more like what Studio FOW promised in the Kickstarter for Subverse.

Aside from the porn you have a shallow dating sim, a so-so twin-stick shooter and a very limited X-COM knockoff. So instead of buying Subverse get one of the good X-COM games (on sale if need be), a fun twin-stick shooter, a silly dating sim and a couple of beers to wash down the shame you feel after beating of to weird 3D porn for free.

All I can find is The Callisto Protocol, a spiritual successor to Dead Space made by one of its creators. So unless you're referring to the game being a mindfuck on account of it taking place centuries after PUBG, I think we're not on the same page.
