Are they? I was under the impression that all bodies were identical, dimension wise, which means that all clothes/armour fit all characters
Orcs had better be bigger than wood-elves! Whether it gets scaled at run-time, or is part of the model, makes no difference. The hands end up in a different spot and we need to run a line there.

Maybe though, just maybe, there will be a way to replace the "sit bolt upright on horseback, barely moving, and holding imaginary reins" animation
At the very minimum we'll need a 3Ds Max exporter, and an NPC template. Even with those it was years before anyone did anything remotely similar in Morrowind. Even to this day I haven't seen an existing animation, say sword swings, done convincingly. Idles yes, actions no.

Shadow of the Colossus has horses... an implementation, I may add, which was very impressive for a console title. That horse moved like a fucking horse.

You ever play GUN, the game is pretty shit but they did a great job on the horsie worsies, in fact the best part about the game was the riding around and unloading your six shooter.

And you know what the bad thing is? I smell " game of the year" being tagged on this steaming pile of shit..........
Well....you seem to miss the point that not because you think a game is shit, means that the rest of the world needs to agree with you.
