We’re on Redbox, I dunno if just their streaming or DVD ops as well.I’ll buy Willow at the local store on DVD instead. It is about time I watched that.

just selling your soul to the deviljust tolerating some ad breaks.
I’m not here to market the movie. That’s someone else’s job.if I was a movie buff I'd watch it, but I don't think I would appreciate a "cult classic" like that
the thread is still about the question — I didn’t bring up the off topic stuff about me — though I will respond to it since it’s about meView attachment 37994
That was a nice thread we had once

Critics hate me.
But I’ve sold some games.
And I know dialog.
But I don’t reject the concept of an absurdist gonzo take on any subject matter in any genre — Malibu Road embraces the Hunter S. Thompson gonzo aesthetic, and for an audience that likes that it is very compelling. The movie has over a million unique audience and is one of the highest rated movies about the CIA in history (and the highest rated independent movie about the CIA).
CIA’s media affairs department loves it — they watched it a couple years before anyone else and had no requests or notes.
This is a great idea and we talked about it but other things did supplant the idea of engaging the IP, specifically The Thing, Taxi Driver, Chinatown. Apocalypse Now, JFK, and Halloween. They Live RPG
John Carpenter being an obvious commonality. This is a great idea and we talked about it but other things did supplant the idea of engaging the IP, specifically The Thing, Taxi Driver, Chinatown. Apocalypse Now, JFK, and Halloween. They Live RPG
how about an RPG where you destroy the world, but the game gives you such good motives to do it that it really becomes a good choice, and then in the end it turns out you are a shizo and the person you trusted and who ultimately convinced you to destroy the world was just in your head.but I'll take anything that doesn't involve saving the goddamn world for the thousandth time.

Fuckload of words to just say SanFrancisco 2077I have a idea of a pretty dark transistor punk setting. The world is shit with constant violence, people are obligated to give a huge portion of its income, far more than any empire ever asked for its subjects and all that they get in return is ridiculous regulations and stupid laws. There are no freedom of expression, merely quoting the dictionary definition of woman can be a "hate crime" and the government don't care about real crimes, only about victmless crimes, crimes of opinion and people who defend themselves. There are also a caste system. Certain groups get preferential treatment and can openly discriminate but not be discriminated, "wasp" are in the bottom of the caste system. Other groups can burn entire cities to the ground consequence free.
The most popular religion in this setting is equality cultism. A religion which preaches that everyone is the same and at the same time paradoxically oppressed and oppressor based in arbitrary characteristics which changes a lot with the time. That religion killed hundreds of millions of people and mutated into new forms to keep the endless killing. Due this religion, people are obligated to be subject to mass human experiments with drugs which the drug makers lie about its proprieties. Also are being forced to eat insects and live in extremely small crowded apartments with lot of pollution. People can't own anything, almost everyone is debt enslaved by big corporations and live on drugs to not kill themselves.

How will UNATCO ever recover from this insult? From a certain point of view I would say this have been explored already "First-person hybrid RPG in which you play a member of a terror cell planning and executing attacks"
