Ah yes, the Cyborg race ... pretty fucking stupid and a example of laziness.

Of course races on TOR are useless, starting areas are set by class and there does not seem to be statistical differences ... you know what? WoW did it better, in fact if we take out the cutscenes and the voice acting we have a WoW clone and not a good one as at least starting areas were by race and we still had class specific quests.

I remeber when Cyborgs where announced as a playable race and people started talking about playing with General Grievous-wannabes...men, those people must be really disapointed.

Because he was asked about it

No i did not ask him nor anyone about it. I asked 'how does it feel to be milked out of your money' and stated 'SP games don't have monthly fees' AFAIK those 2 are different things.

Racofer is right, he was justifying himself.

Why do you lie Sergiu and SoupNazi ? Is it to reaffirm yourself that the value which you pay for a single player game monthly is somewhat meaningfull?

Yeah - based on whether you're human or alien. There are a couple, not many, based on specific races too.

Where do 'cyborgs' fit in Star Wars canon? How come they were never explored in the movies nor in KOTOR series?

General Grievous = Cyborg. Hell, even Darth Vader can be considered a cyborg. Is just BioWare's lazy design that makes them look like a race of Lolborgs...

Besides, SW:TOR uses lot's of stuff from the expanded SW universe, like the Chriss race (blue skinned guys with red eyes), even thought the only important Chriss is Grand Admiral Thrawn.

There are way more cyborgs there, including this bro bellow, Lord Nax, that wields EIGHT lightsabers at once, to enrage anyone thinking grievou's and his 4 lightsabers was fan-service enough:

fuck that shit is stupid
That's why I stopped reading that stuff, is just a bunch of bad writers taking things to EXTREME levels...

If someone asked me what's good about SW expanded, I would say only 4 comic books: Thrawn Trilogy (the best one), Dark Empire Trilogy and the Tales of the Jedi Omnibus Vol. 1 & 2. Everything else feels like bad fanfiction with characters trying too hard to be cool.

The cyborgs you listed are distinctive, characteristic, and unique, whereas the ones in TOR are the most generic robots in the history of sci fi.
