The game would be better if the arena was cut down to half the amount of fights.
The funniest thing is that the amount of fights in the Arena is already cut down to half from what was there on release - and it's still way, way too much.

I spent 11 hours in one day getting 100% of the achievements in this game. I can't recall the last time I had so much fun with a small-scale indie RPG like this. Thoroughly recommended. You can skip a lot of the arena fights and still get 100% completion, it was a bit of a drag compared to the rest but really not too bad all things considered. Had to use the "cheat" option to respec my characters several times for some difficult fights. Not sure I would've finished it if not for that option.

Yeah I also just spent a day getting through the game and 100%. The first few levels with genuine exploration and (pretty simple) puzzles was really enjoyable, I wish the game continued on that path. The spelling mistakes, and b-level movie dialogue was so charming I was having a blast whenever dialogue would come up.

The arena though...even with the "casual" mode, is too much of a drag. Especially since I lose my gear that was important to my builds. Weirdly enough, Barbarians Lvl 2 was the hardest fight for me, lost track of how many times I had to restart, while the others were all 1-3 tries.

Didn't expect to go up to a spaceship, that's for sure, and I ended the last fight in the game on 1hp with 1 character left.

Genuinely craving a Dungeon Crawler know, maybe I'll finally install Grimrock.

Thanks for the fun 13 hours for next to no $$ ZeebaEata
