Denuvo? Yeah, it's horrible, and anyone that has ever bought a game with it is objectively subhuman. But how is the console piracy scene doing in comparison?

There is no console piracy scene. You just accept the fact that you'll be paying for each game you play, the same as on PC pretty much (any worthwhile AAA game has denuvo). The point is that the one huge advantage that the PC used to have (pay once, then get things for free) is now gone.

Unlike consoles, PC has a lot of AA games and thousands of indies. Plus, there are mods that can ameliorate experience even in woke games by cutting/modifying certain elements.

As for 'you'll be paying for each game, same as PC', not really. There are freebies from Epic and legitimate ways to get games for a fraction of their cost (Prime Gaming, Humble Choice).

Now, now, Skinny. You want to announce that you've become a console pleb, be my guest. But don't present it as a 'reasonable' solution for anyone else.

The problem with modern pc gaming is all the console migrants that were convinced to come over.
How many of them actually play prestigious classic pc genres?
The occasional ones who would've come over without the lure of higher framerates and better graphics anyways.

You still need a high end pc for:
-Mods, especially total war and battle tech mods.
-Specific games that benefit from 3d cache like factorio and other physics heavy games.
-Emulation.
Yeah, you are wasting your money if you buy a new 1k+ gpu to run modern ai fps boosted slop.
