Elite Dangerous for that sort of small cog
completely disagree on this. elite is very much a single player game, you're master of yourself and all you do is for yourself.

i'm so starving for a decent space experience i reinstalled this. whole bandwidth locked for three days on this, to find out level 4 agents are locked for free users. also the once granitic game is horribly buggier, crashing left and right, and slower to load anything.
look how they massacred my boy.
on the other hand, surprisingly there're a lot more people. well, not really people, just characters. since ccp itself admitted there's almost 3 multiboxers for every real person, which probably translates into 10 to 1.

Odd, I've been playing Eve Online now for a couple years now and not getting any crashing here, and my computer is shit. And yeah the limitations on the Alpha Clones is a bit tough, but it still leaves a lot of other stuff open (Abyss, Wormholes, Escalations etc...). Of note, you *can* be in a fleet with people doing level 4/5 missions. You just can't initiate them.
