I have made some additional Thief 1&2 avatars.

What about these from Princess Maker 2? Most are 96x104 with a few at 96x140.

Am I going to regret this? I probably will...

A bunch of avatars are missing from the set that's on the site. Checked for my old avatar on site and it wasn't there, but it was in the set that Gragt posted.

I think I know. Some were in bmp and the rest in png and only the png were uploaded. The reason I didn't convert them was that they would take slightly more space, even after going through png gauntlet. The other set I uploaded got them all in png and better quality though.

I got access to the avatar I wanted by providing a complete set to go along with it, a set which others may enjoy and which diversifies available options while still allowing the staff full control. Upon reflection, that's actually a pretty sensible system.

I don't really see the purpose behind restriction to a gallery other than tradition and a marginal sense of aesthetics, but then again I own a gore forum and have gotten used to the most outlandish avatars imaginable over the years.

TwinkieGorilla idonthavetimeforthiscrap Try re-selecting the avatars you wanted (the dog and the robot, I mean) -- they should work now, hopefully. (Don't forget to clear your cache.)

Also Arcanum, Fallout and Avernum sprites and portraits should stop scaling up now, so whoever has an avatar with those, re-select it after clearing your cache.

Ok. I thought Watchmen could go in, at least the first two portraits of Night Owl and Rorschach - they are from the game. Horrible, horrible game but.. still, a game.
But its not a biggie.

maybe some cult comics would be good to diversify things a bit? Just something to think about. (plus its great art)

Presumably the lack of Battle of the Sands avatars is on account of the fact that everybody would be using them, leaving the other options to gather dust.

I think I'll stick with the banal default avatar, as per usual. Distinction is for the distinguished.
