RP-wise, she would do very little talking. The voice set reflects a quieter type of person too.How can she talk with an Intelligence of 4 ?

Bards should be a single-class so you get songs and new spells asap. When you get to the high levels I suppose you could switch. How do people roll with their bards? Do you multiclass them or?
I want to replay IWD2 on Insane. I want to try a party of thief/cleric (any advice on perks? it just seems like a fun concept), druid (whenever I tried to take another classes for druid it did't end well, I think it's one class in 3d which is alright as it is), sorcerer, bard and some sort of a tank (also something exotic and tricky, well, as far as a tank can be).

what do you mean 'only gives you bonus from dex mod'? wielding short swords, wouldn't this char attack as if having the equivalent of 20 str? Those are some horribly (bad) minmaxed stats. Finesse only gives you the attack bonus from dex mod, you must hit like a wet noodle with 6 strength
You pick monk for larping purposes I assume but a monk with 10 wisdom is p. dumb and your character personality doesn't really match someone with the 18 cha you probably picked just because you multi-classed to sorcerer. Man you suck at larping.

Weapon finesse only applies to the attack roll, the damage roll bonus will still come from strength.what do you mean 'only gives you bonus from dex mod'? wielding short swords, wouldn't this char attack as if having the equivalent of 20 str? Those are some horribly (bad) minmaxed stats. if not: oops, but it doesn't really matter since it's primarily a caster, monk levels are just for fun.
An 11-12/18-19 bard/sorcerer would probably be better than a single classed level 30 bard in the long run.You can do odd stuff like Pal 1/Sorc x or Rog 1/Wis x but even then you are losing combat prowess in exchange for marginal toys and seeing more class/skill checks.

ah! but the hit rate would be pretty high, no? even with low damage, the frequency of hits would make for acceptable damage over time? or perhaps not.Weapon finesse only applies to the attack roll, the damage roll bonus will still come from strength.what do you mean 'only gives you bonus from dex mod'? wielding short swords, wouldn't this char attack as if having the equivalent of 20 str? Those are some horribly (bad) minmaxed stats. I learn from in-game descriptionsSwedes suck at basic rules as well it seems

Uh, I dunno how it works in IWD2 but you won't get extra attacks from it. Just have a higher chance to hit when you attack.ah! but the hit rate would be pretty high, no? even with low damage, the frequency of hits would make for acceptable damage over time? or perhaps not.
oh, not at all. I don't even expect a 3 level monk/x sorc to ever be in melee. this would have been a sorc with the looks of a dw monk, that's all. I did think weapon finesse would do more for the character though.ah! but the hit rate would be pretty high, no? even with low damage, the frequency of hits would make for acceptable damage over time? or perhaps not.
Monk/Sorc is gonna have shit hit rate and shit # of attacks regardless of your DEX due to bad BAB progression. And if you are using your caster to attempt to deal "acceptable" damage over time to a single target in melee rather than casting spells, you are absurdly bad at D&D.
I had that too but NPCs kept talking to him and he turned down all my rewards and I didn't even get some sort of karma bonus or something. great design. My current team for IWD2 is : a paladin

Really? For me the whole beginning in Targos up till the goblin attack is one of the high points of IE gaming. Lots of skill checks, but also unique dialogue lines for classes/races, good combination of various combat/non combat quests with alternative solutions. Unfortunately, the game gets progressively worse after that and completely falls apart around that shitty ice temple.all cha 1-2 quests are shit
Rolling is awful in a crpg. Difficult for designers who have to balance content, difficulty for players who are expected to create a balanced party.not rolling attributes suck.
They're one of the best classes to have.bards are probably shit too like usual.
what do you mean?Zed, you forgot - no hard class restrictions!
