Playing Disco Elysium now, this suddenly looks so dated.

I do not understand codex obsession with old developers and has-beens. Just because they made some good games in the past does not mean they are going to make a good game now. This game looks like it was written by tankies and third wave radical feminists.

If a middle-of-the-road California liberal looks like a tankie to you, that says more about your politics than theirs.

What's a tankie?

Originally, a West European or American Communist who supported the USSR's decision to resolve the 1956 Hungarian crisis with a military invasion ("rolling in the tanks").

Lately it's just come to mean any hard-line authoritarian Communist who feels that re-establishing the USSR would be a terrific idea and Stalin was an all-round bromrade.

Did missed something in the gameplay that they shown so far? Because apparetly there's tons of Pro Feminists/SJW ,even something about ''pro-tankies'' (???), stuff in the writting so far.

Played 4 hours last night. Pretty impressive on Xbox one x. Smooth fps except in super heavy fire fights. Graphics are awesome. Especially the sky box. Multiple planets and moons and aurora borealis just happening on the skybox makes it a visual treat.

Loading is around 20 to 30 seconds in between cities and open area. Other smaller sections around 10 seconds. Multiple options for melee weapons and ranged. Voice acting is good along with character models. Noteworthy mention for enemy models. Looks amazing. Especially the mutated gorilla thing.

Companion ai could be better but you can customize them to be a bit more defensive.

Exp gain is constant and easy enough. Game doesn't get Grindy. So you can breeze through story no problem. Lots of inter connected side quests. For example do one side quest and leads to an npc. Talk to him or her more and you get a new side quest option. Pretty cool imo.

Camera sensitivity is insanely high. I had to lower it.

Choices matter. Especially faction related. I already had to make a big one resulting in one hating me.

More to say but this is a good first post for me. If you guys have questions feel free to ask. I would post part 1 on yt but not gonna risk a strike this early in the week lol

But to people on the fence. Get it. Its the best fallout since new Vegas.

I haven't run into any bugs tbh. Almost none so far. But that's 4 hours in. Can't say for whole game

So, there is this OTHER game called The Outer Wilds...

How much free hype has been generated for that game based on the name similarity?

You're busy taking everything politically some people just want a game that isn't a 5 hour long book

Whatever happened to geometrical shapes innovation buzz? I was expecting Mass Effect done right, with The Expanse graphics, Troika RPG elements and writing. Instead it's a recycled, buggy, dated New Vegas, where you go to different planets to shoot at danger hair SJW's overgrown vagina lice.

Have you read the 5 hour book recently released, the outer worlds might have too much action for you, you'll actually have to control your character at times

It obviously looks better than New Vegas but politics are more important than games to you
