Win32, works on older Windows versions, no DRM whatsoever, and it works without the Epic launcher being open. Hey this isn't too bad. It is a game alright.

Yes all the characters are ugly,brown and stupid but everything is so blurry you can't see them anyway. Haven't run into too much POZ but I'm sure I will.

I haven't had any issues with bugs or anything except for a companion you can recruit that meets you on the ship just walks into the wall, I stopped playing before leaving the planet though so I dunno if it is persistent.. Otherwise aside from a few hitches (mostly outside when loading a new area) it's been very smooth otherwise.

Heard a few people make this criticism, really don't get it.

Like: "I'm only immersed if I can fire a projectile at Mayor Cornelious' desk and have pens, paper, a loaf of bread and a carrot fly across the room".

What's not to get? Games are a simulation, and the more stuff you can interact with in a game, the better. You cause an explosion, you want to see physics objects sent flying. In a firefight, you want breakable objects to shatter when getting hit and have their pieces scatter. You want to see hanging objects sway as force is applied to them.

Not having loose assets everywhere helps in keeping the games performance stable.

Of course it does. It's always a question of quality vs. performance, and this is an AA game where they probably were happy to cut down on potential physics bugs. It's not a big deal, but it is a shame that the environment feels so static.

With South Park being banned in China a few weeks ago, Epic is less convincing as a long-term platform, as a customer and especially for developers. Tim likes to pretend that Tencent being a large investor doesn't mean anything, but it will at some point.

Ask Tim if any of the South Park games could show up on Epic, or any other i.p that offends dictators. Tencent will come knocking.

Ayio, lesbophobes, I started the game on Supernova because I'm a big boy and I'm wondering if there's a way (item, skill, etc) to resurrect companions, or if they're just dead once they get downed. I'm fine either way, just want to know if I need to put them on pure ranged combat to stop the AI from facetanking shit.
