BTW, any battle brother with awesome voice in for some VA for the video? The theme asks for a eastern-europe accent, not a latino lover one...

Oh man it's got to be MetalCraze

Judging by the video, 1992 was a great year for RPGs...

It was probably the best year for CRPGs, with 1993 second.

1992:
Black Crypt
Ultima Underworld
Treasures of the Savage Frontier
Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny
Ultima VII - The Black Gate
Dark Queen of Krynn
Darklands
Might and Magic: Clouds of Xeen
Wizardry: Crusaders of the Dark Savant

1993:
The Legacy: Realm of Terror
Ultima Underworld 2
FRUA
Ultima VII: Part Two - Serpent Isle
Might and Magic: Darkside of Xeen
Betrayal at Krondor
Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos
Dark Sun: Shattered Lands

Cool vid, felipe. Could use some crossfades though between the clips. Nothing flashy or lame, just so that they blend better after one another. What program do you use? Vegas, Premiere or something else?

This was a nice video ; if you allow me suggest, it would have been better with more than Dragon Age ; you could have added stupid lines from Fallout 3, Skyrim, action clips etc... From what I get, you didn't like Dragon Age but the first one is actually only half decline.

Get rid of Daggerfall, pls.

I sort of agree, Oblivion and Fallout 3 represent the steepest decline to the abyssal depths the industry is now at.

I guess you could throw Dragon Age 2 in there quite easily, but certainly DA:O is a tier above these three loathsome popamoles.

I did it all on After Effects. Yeah, even the editting.

I got that vice from editing Full HD (or even 5k) videos; importing them in Avid or Final Cut would takes DAYS (especially 5-7 years ago), and since I worked on advertising, I never had all that time... so I would throw then in AE and edit the whole video using a 1/8 preview. I still use Avid sometimes, but since the video had some compositions, I just do it on AE to avoid having to render stuff all the time. PROS: Very fast, total control. CONS: I get lazy since I have to do most editing presets by hand, that's why no fades. :P

I agree that DA was good for what it is, just like New Vegas, but that "This is the new shit" trailer was everything that I needed. Even a retard that never playes nothing pre-Mass Effect looking at that can see things have changed A LOT.

New Vegas was much better.
Good game, shitty Fallout. Is still a FPS with "aweshum" slow-mo deathcam, pure decline coming from F1 & 2.

Also, this image is great. This is RPGCodex as seen by the rest of the internet!
Thanks. I'm still wondering if I should leave it empty stop being a lazy bastard and draw some desolate codex trolls on it...
