Sorry, a wild paying job suddenly appears and taunts me... since I need to pay rent and shit, it was super-effective and I became distracted, hurting myself in confusion.
Nothing wrong with that as long as no one was seriously harmed in your profit making.
Since it's advertisement work, usually my moral shifts towards Evil... and possibly many people over Brazil will waste their money on something they now want, but don't need... :(

Advertising?

Don't feel bad. If they're dumb enough to fall for your work, they weren't worth your time anyways. All of the people worth liking will make you poor. Consider it Social Darwinism! ;)

Yeah, I noticed you're asking for Steam Achievements in the Underrail thread.
Is your evil not content to inflict poverty and ruination on countless Brazilians, but must also strive to introduce decline into one of the rare games that are actually good? Snap out of it man! :rpgcodex:

(I don't care what you do with Brazilian lives, but leave Underrail alone)

You underestimate the value of such rich data on how people are playing your game. With a nice set of achievements, you can easily see where people lose their interest and stop playing, which are the most used & unused builds, if your secrets are well hidden, how hardcore is your audience...

Besides, I fail to see how adding achievements now is decline; it doesn't change absolutely nothing in-game, and it's very easy to ignore. Sure, some games add pointless collectibles and menial tasks linked to achievements, but that isn't what I'm asking for, and I'm sure that Styg knows better.

Nice one. You should team up with Jimbob and make a proper movie following his RPGCodex comics.

While we're there,

I never save that priestess from RoA Star Trail before.
Is it worth the trouble?

The priestess is there to kickstart a beginner party with a couple of levels. You don't meet her if you imported the party from ROA1; and a fresh party can't miss her.

Exactly. Just because most achievements are idiotic (equipped your first weapon! killed your first five enemies! completed 3 quests!) doesn't mean that it's not a great tool for the developers if done right.

Needs Beekers-Techmarine charging along with Fargo!
The hard part is finding a good Techmarine art... in fact, the hardest thing here is telling the story the way I want and keeping a cohesive art design, all while depending on the internet pictures... that's why I still haven't managed to make Cleve a Techpriest. :(

The Last Of Us (a good/great game) is serious decline in the achievement/trophy department. I was looking just yesterday...2% completion in TLoU...I was like WTF? I loved that game and finished it, how could it be 2%???. All the bullshit (not doing) New Game + stuff kept me @ 2%. Stupid, fuck that.

In my day we didn't have %. We would talk to bros and say things like:

Bro 1: "Yeah, I finished that game."
Bro 2: "Did you find that room with 10 million gold in a chest outside the visible map?"
Bro 1: "Holy shit! I did not finish it!"

Percent complete status is a major component of :decline:

Sounds like someone never got 203% on Castlevania: Symphony of the Night...

You can get up to 207% if you manage to glitch yourself out the walls of the Royal Chapel and the Anti-Chapel.

You guys need to get a life. I was too busy banging models in penthouses to ever get over 194%

Also, now that I have 1 year anniversary brofist privileges I can finally add mine to felipepepe's quest for more brofists.

@Colin, yours is the coolest and the one that gave me most trouble so far, please don't let us down! :P

(Sawyer is hilarious, but I'll leave that one for the full video)

Why oh why do I not have brofisting capability? WHY?

(ps. this is great)

Yes. But then again, 2013 was supposed to be the year of incline.... 2014 is doing better, but I need more proofs.
