BG3's queer content does not appeal to me and I will be playing it purely for the gameplay. I may get some value out of the story; a lot of people criticized D:OS 2's but I actually found it entertaining enough.

As for the question of redundant votes, the same thing can also be said for Fallout/Fallout 2/New Vegas, Gothic/Gothic II, Baldur's Gate/Baldur's Gate II, Kingmaker/Wrath of the Righteous, Knights of the Chalice/Knights of the Chalice 2, kotor/kotor 2, Deus Ex/Deus Ex Human Revolution, Icewind Dale/Icewind Dale II and so on.
