I played about 60 hours, most of which with a friend, and it was fun. It's entirely multiplayer, and a microphone is required, as you will need to communicate with other squad members. Sound is very important. I recommend you play with headphones.

The combat is slow and difficult. Stick with your squad or you'll die. There is a chain of command within the game, where players report to squad leaders; squad leaders report to lieutenants; and lieutenants report to a commander. I haven't played in a while, so I don't know the extent of new vehicles in the game. Last I played, there were tanks.

One of my favorite memories is blasting the ISIS theme song on local chat, while me and my terrorist teammates rode into the battle on the back of a pickup truck. Playing with other people can be fun, while there are the occasional basement-dwelling marine LARPers who'll scream if a medic doesn't revive him.

Should you play it? Yes, if you like a collaborative, military-based, hardcore, first-person shooter. If you like run-and-gun, shoot-em-up popamole shit, then this game isn't for you.

CyberTaxi.

It's a remake (downright copy?) of the old game Quarantine.

It's a game that tries to combine slow paced tactical mil-sim like Arma and twitch shooter gameplay.
It succeeds in my opinion, as you get to the shooting part quite fast, while the fire exchange distances are still quite big and most maps give a lot of space for manoeuvrers.

I preferred when it was a little more infantry focused and feel like they added too many vehicles, but it still works if it's properly balanced.
Mic is a must, best played when joining some community, albeit playing random servers can still be fun.

I wouldn't say it's hardcore, as you respawn quite fast and a single medic can still pick up a whole team (unless they changed it again to bring back real deaths).

The Henchmen, looks like a mix of GTA 1/2 and Hotline Miami.

The Game
The Henchmen is a pulp-inspired, 90s fueled top-down, action retro open-world game. Set in the fictional city of New Queens, The Henchmen blends classic PS1-era games experiences, such as Driver and the first Grand Theft Auto with a modern approach, producing a unique experience.

The game is also designed from the ground up to be a co-operative experience, as the game can be played both in single-player and local 2 players co-op (both shared screen and split-screen), with story elements and missions changing depending on the number of players.

The Story
During the late sixties, the Castellano Mafia family had complete control over the City of New Queens: They Controlled the guns, drugs, and sex workers that roamed the streets.
This started to change, however, as the Homura Yakuza Syndicate started to chip away at The Castellano empire in the late 1970.
Anthony, the new leader of the family, is forced to rely on his henchmen to get back what was his, starting a bloody gang war in the streets of New Queens.

The game is set in two time periods: In the 1970s you play as Rachel, a young single mother who wants to quit the gangster life for the sake of her daughter, while also being both Castellano’s best gun and lover.

In the 1990s, you deal with the aftermath of the gang wars, as you take control of Samuel, an ex-army man who left his job to help his brother Jamal who owes money to the wrong kind of people.

What we’re planning:

-8 to 10 hours long main campaign

-Unlockable Hard Mode, side activities and collectibles

-Entire game playable in both singleplayer and local two players co-op

-Original Soundtrack and cutscene artwork

-Explore the city in its two time periods: A snowy 1970s rendition and a hot, more modern 1990s version.

-Indoor and outdoor fights, with both melee weapons and firearms

Got to admire the determination and doggedness with which devs keep trying to emulate Spire despite repeated failure.

The infamous goose game has finally come to Steam, along with a multiplayer (2) update.

Degica games are on sale (including a bundle of great schmups).

Another sale, this time for Paradox (grand) strategy titles. Only released title not on sale is CK3. Stellaris has a bundle seemingly just for this weekend. If that's not your thing though, Europa Universalis, CK2 DLC, Hearts of Iron and Imperator: Rome are all on heavy sale.

Earlry Access colonysim for fans of Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld recently launched on Steam.

Lobotomy Corporation's sequel (currently in EA) is on sale. If you liked the lore of its predecessor it's allegedly kinda a must. LC itself is 50% off right now.

Other news: WB is having a weekend sale, as is Devil May Cry; Serious Sam 4 launched to uninspired reviews.

EDIT: oh, and No Man's Sky is on sale after it's huge 3.0 patch (the 14th major content addition since launch), and it's 50% off as a result. It even has its sand worms, finally.

While Steam randomly censors VN games because they hate cute girls, while allowing hideous gay and/or furry games with little issues, this game somehow is now available in Steam. It's also an actually fun game to boot! A gamepad is highly recommended though.

I've checked out their upcoming games and this one looks the most interesting so far:

That gorgeous butt dithering!:bounce:

Though it does look like there are multiple artists drawing even the closeups.

infidel -- ohhh, I missed that one, thanks! Kinda keeping track of the ... let's called it Steam's eroge renaissance. :P

It's really cool to see this stuff done in variant stylisations and (at times) a lot more tastefully, rather than just 101 editions of anime tiddies. I'm not saying hentai can't be tasteful or beautiful, but there's definitely a pattern with what's been on Steam the last year or two that's not exactly high art.

Planning on playing Midnight Castle Succubus alongside something a lot more innocent as part of getting into metroidvanias more. ^^

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
Never been a fan of sidescroller/platformer smut games. There are a few golden rules in lewd game design, one of them being that you don't want to incentivize failure. Having to do actions that hinder overall progression like getting hit or defeated by enemies is pure cancer and the sidescrollers typically have that issue.

Are ... all guys playing them with that in mind? >.>

I just dig it as a different theme or aesthetic, but maybe assuming they're not actually used as porn is naive as fuck.
