Thoughts on Soul Calibur VI? Is it worth it?
I usually don't play fighting games competitively/Online a lot and it might not be great for that.

But it has a good campaign story for a fighting game, you create your own character, there's a world map you can travel while events happen and you meet other characters, you level up and improve your gear. There's shit like side quests, recruitment etc.

And there's also a different "campaign" Mode that has a story for every character like in Street Fighter.

A lot of other Fightan' Games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Injustice etc. probably aren't really worth it for the SP content alone even though it can be fun, SC6 actually is.

Insert Title Here Strap Yourselves In I helped put crap in Monomyth

this came out today.

all of Starni's Panzer General-alikes are surprisingly good, but the unforgettably bad voice acting will either amuse you or rip you out of the experience (or both). this has to be seen to be believed:

These soulless eyes, the awkward voices, the inhuman tactics... It is always a fresh experience to let you play as the Demon Army guys without any censorship or anything.

0:41 Wait, what? Is the Red Army fight US Army? I see only Panzers...

Who exactly wins here? Is this some strange Germany vs Germany scenario (the Army vs the Nazi Party)?

Nice use of the AI text to speech by the way. I mean, these can't be human voices, right?

Oh my fucking god. I can't get enough of this model pretending to be a trucker wearing a (presumably photoshopped) American Truck Simulator t-shirt. It works on so many levels.

Seriously, I don't even get out of bed unless it's at least 75% off these days.
Largely agree with bigger titles, but I try not to be so stingey when I know the money actually makes a difference for the developer (and therefore the games' development). Devs that post on here, for example, the dev behind Warsim, or the guy who makes Ostranauts/NEOScavenger; or roguelike devs responsible for innovative titles like Caves of Qud, or Cogmind, or (soon) Dwarf Fortress.

Why wait for a sale at all if you're just buying the game as a glorified donation to the bums making them?
