State of Decay 2 is the most improved, supported game over the last 5 years. Voters don't know shit about games.

It's the last day of the sale. This is my haul (some of these picks are based on recommendations in this thread, so thanks):

It's a coincidence that the poster above me recommended this, I was just looking for a sim racer because I ordered a wheel online, and this was recommended as the best single player sim racer available now, together with Assetto Corsa, which I also got in this sale.

Also decided to get this since it's cheap, despite reading a bad review, but whatever. Monkey Island 2 remastered also has a gamebreaking bug that has been around for almost a decade, and no one bothered to fix it.

how did red dead redemption win a steam award didnt it come out years ago
The Labor of Love award is open to all games, it's primarily aimed at things where developers have continued to support a game with further content or indie labors of love that persevered for years and came out. For example Terraria was a regular winner.

That makes RDR2 a real head scratcher since they've dropped adding new content to the multiplayer and never added anything to the singleplayer. I can only assume it was a troll effort from some board to get it nominated then sheep glommed onto it during the actual voting.
Or it's a shitpost, just like how Starfield won the innovation award.

This got recommended to me for some reason. I'm disappointed it wasn't released Jan 6th. It seems like a waste opportunity to shit post.

On top of that, people say the game is 30 mins long. If that's the case, it should have been released for free.

It's a shame that even anti-globalists try to rip you off.

Longplay is 31 minutes long so yea, it's a glorified flash game. Not to mention 10 years out of date with the Trump wankery. Still not sure why Steam recommended me it when I don't engage with anything remotely related to that stuff on the platform.

Take a look at the vitamins Alex Jones is selling, it gives a very clear explaination on why the game's so expensive for its duration and gameplay.

But if you don't feel you got your money's worth from this game, you can always get yourself a refund.

It's a Metal Slug clone, anyone expecting it to take a weekend to finish is retarded.
With a £20 price tag I would expect more than 30 minutes game play. If it was 5 or 10 I would say that's fair. But £20 is where you start to move from indie games into AA games and this is purely a meme game.

Troubleshooter Abandoned Children historical low 60% off

How's this one compare to Yakuza Like a Dragon? I liked that one quite a bit. Troubleshooter is not laden with DLC, either. Good weekend spender?

Not at all, it is X-com with "normal people" problems. One of the best tactical games out there with lots of build options and tight combat. A bit heavy on story segments at first few levels but then opens up a lot.
Good month spender, a very long game.

be warned, you will develop a fear of characters with unique hair style - there is high chance that they will join your party and each character got unique development/planning

Hahaha, that the description, I think I'll get along fine with this one. Thanks.

Hmm. I'll play it blind and see what happens. Cheap enough.
