Binary Domain you faggots. Get it.
Tried the demo and didn't get past the main menu. Couldn't even see the mouse cursor, that doesn't bode well for a console port.

So I finaly bought AssCreed2 yesterday and am already regretting it.
The game is the worst console port I ever played.

Thanks to the stupid mouse acceleration the game seems to stutter like hell, even though it runs at 50-60 fps.
Interestingly it's nice and smooth when looking around in 1st person view (when mouse accelleration is apparently off).

Fuck Ubisoft.
Force disable vsync, and if you tear cap your fps to 58-59, should be better. I use nvidia inspector for that, don't know about ATI.
(Or get a pad. I'm a M&K lover, but AssCreeds just play a lot better with a pad)

Codex, any advice if Stronghold 3 is worth the 10 j€weuros?

Even with as much videogame money I had set aside for this sale I don't have enough for all the Railworks DLC. I'm sorry Gaben. :(

It is alright my son. You'll do better next time, I believe in you.

Guy finally sent me the Stardock pack. Guess he had to wait for his ruskie supplier to wake up. Way too late to actually play anything tonight, but at least I can get it downloading and rev up my bitching engine as I look at Rebellion tomorrow. :bounce:

Still haven't decided on UT shit. Not only not fucking with discs, but not fucking with patches. IIRC UT2K4 has a hell of a lot of patching if you've got an initial retail copy and not Editor's Gold of the Year edition. Also not sure how much (If at all) I'd play them again. Even with UT3's faults it's good enough for loading up for some dumb deathmatching.

it's Valve, they can't be wrong.

they have been pretty wrong with this whole wondrous sales thing so far

ideally there should be a new knockout deal every day but so far there hasn't been a single one except for the 90% railworks thing which made the ZERO train fans here very happy and no mhc is not a train fan he's just a buying stuff from steam fan

why perhaps he might even purchase this because it's going for 75% off right now

@Multi-headed Cow what say you?

Would you LP it?
Nonsense. I only LP monocle games. :obviously:

Edit which is really an edit because it just struck me to ask: How do you tag people in posts like that, anyway? I assume there's some easy way to do it but I haven't seen it.

no, it's not
Sure it is. It's slower and clunkier than previous UTs, but if you want speed and fluidity you'd be better served by Quake 3 anyway. UT3's ok for what it is. :rpgcodex:

Ah well... I went ahead and grabbed ut2k4 for steams. I already have the game, but not having to bother with 6 CDs for installation + patching in the future is worth it.

Plus the original Alien Swarm is better than the easy as fuck newfaggotry that is AS2.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't help.
I've probably tried about every "fix" out there, but whatever I do, mouse accelleration is screwing up the controlls.
Bummer.

At least you get used to it after a while.

Fuck Ubisoft.

Always and forever. Amen.

No, it's terrible.
Stronghold 3 isn't worth 1 j€wro. Stronghold 1 is where it's at
Thanks for saving me money. I still have the first Strongholds somewhere, got them for free or something on Direct2Drive, I just hope I can still retrieve them after that site got eaten by some douchebag.

Mmm...Now I'm tempted to reinstall and play some classic AS. Would need to clear out a bunch of shit from my SSD, though.

Me and some BROs/BROettes used to all get together with our laptops and play AS1 on highest difficulty where you had to drink a shot whenever you died. We'd compete as teams to see who could clear one of the campaigns first. Good times.

Ahaha, holy shit.

If we did that with the Codex crew I played with a few years back, we'd all be dead from alcohol poisoning.

Man, the friendly fire in that game was just absolute fucking hysterical.

Well that's not too horrible then. I'd much prefer $22 naturally but since I haven't got a ruskiebro $30 isn't too horrendous.

There's always somethin cheaper in the US/UK/whatever store, for instance the Russian and most European Stores don't seem to have the "Grand Theft Auto Complete Pack" and it's $12.50 in the US store: http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=us while in the UK it is £5 (~$7.80) http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=uk

Well at least we have The Whispered World at -75% Off in Yurop :M

In romania it was 7.49 euro..still a bit cheaper than the KWA. Finally decided to add it to my collection. Benefits of not picking up like everybody else 5 sales ago makes it seem 'special'...at least one fucking decent thing so far.

Is NFS: Hot Pursuit good? I don't mean "good for 5 euro".
I would like opinions as well, been needing a new racing game.

Just bought Death To Spies Gold for 10€.

If you enjoy Hitman, Commandos or stealth games in general you owe it to yourself to play Death to Spies.

Has Death to Spies had a flash deal or anything yet? Seems like I saw it but passed on it.
